@@hectorcollazo8845 I feel ya man, I'm stoked on the new tracks they've put out and I think their new singer is badass, it's been on repeat for months. Tommy's released some new clips on his IG and it sounds awesome too, I saw him live last year and he kicked ass.

Tbh, I like this album more than the others
Its so funny seeing people act like DL is some new guy in the music industry. Dude helped found the acacia strain as one of the most solid and influential guitarists of his AND our generation. I believe he produced for a while too. Dudes been a certified legend for more than 15 years, so its insane to see how much MORE talent he was holding back on
He played on the last LGND album and this sounds like he might be helping write guitars too for BW?
I'll admit that even though I am somewhat familiar with Acacia Strain, I never had the chance to hear them. Same with Doc Coyle's former band God Forbid. I've heard only one or two songs but I'm thinking of checking every album. Now, DevilDriver and Divine Heresy, I love. I remember upon hearing in 2017 what band members consist, my jaw instantly dropped. Same awesome reaction I had when Hellyeah formed being a fan of Mudvayne, Nothingface (Rock In Peace, Matt), and last but not least PanterA. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
But yeah, I wish I heard Acacia Strain sooner. No matter, DL is a kick ass choice to succeed after Tommy. I just hope no more band members leave. John's one of my top fav drummers and Doc didn't take long to become one of my fav shredders in my 5th listen with Disobey.
Lifeline was missing a lot, this song filled all those gaps. Hope the new album is more like this 🔥

I’ll follow tommy wherever he winds up. I was a big fan of divine heresy and Westfield massacre. However this shit bangs. Keep up the good work. Tommy had some powerful vocals and great screams. The new guy had some big shoes to fill vocally and has done a nice job so far 👍🏻

I will say, that when given tommy's vocals and DL's vocals to compare on lifeline, I said tommy won out, however, I think DL shows in this song that he really can sing whatever side of the tommy vext dispute you are on. Well Done, I anticipate hearing whatever comes next.

DL has a better range than Tommy and is more dynamic. I hope he sounds just as good live considering Tommy could never deliver live vocals well

@@AnthonyEsparza I mean, he wrote the lyrics, he wrote the meaning behind the song, the actual instrumentalists didn't even play the studio versions of the songs, just being realistic, I wish both sides success, but I also hope the make their own material. BTW I have a strict occupation, not much "no life" going on over here.

John Boecklin killing it on the kit. He’s such a great musician.
He deserves the recognition. He was the backbone of DevilDriver and wrote most of those albums. Total machine.

I think the album is gonna have a balance of clean and harsh vocals plus Doc said that there will be harsh vocals from Doc and Chris as well.

DL adds a lot of texture to Bad Wolves that wasnt there before. People that don't know hos work the Acacia Strain, LGND, Unearth, etc. You can tell he helped with the instruments in this song on top of the singing.... I like Vext, but i am excited to see what the future of Bad Wolves are now.

And was amazed at Vext ability and words of uplift. I was more angry when in his own live video after HE left the band Vext advised his fans and others to NOT ATTACK the band after his departure and how he wishes him the best. He acknowledged HE yes himself is leaving the band none of that oh they threw me out and took my music from me like wtf live up to your words son. Man tf up all I hope is the court case gets settled if he needs money fine we can always replace that no matter what but your words you said bro keep it real 💯 or GTFO. So many people who follow bands cuz of their motives and amazing words what's sad is some can't live up to it and ruin the family. I finally said this I been wanting to say this for a while. @@barnabyhitzig486 In a band like this, if you're the guy that wrote the hooks, melodies and lyrics, you've essentially written the song and made it into the success it became. If what Tommy says is true and he wrote all the melodies and lyrics for this album than what Bad Wolves and their label is doing is extremely messed up, unethical and they're essentially stealing Tommy's work. It's happened many times before in the music industry so it's not so far-fetched. Now, whether or not it's actually true remains to be seen but jumping to conclusions and speculating before the lawsuit is settled is foolish. We don't know what happened, it's he said/she said at this point so let the courts settle it and whatever plays out plays out.
IMHO, Tommy will not win this supposed lawsuit. Whatever contract Tommy signed with the label means they own you and whatever you write as long as you're with that label. The labels nowadays don't give artists any rights to their own music and I doubt it's any different with Bad Wolves. Best case scenario for him, they'd settle and he'd have to buy the rights to the Bad Wolves name and his songs back which would be extremely expensive for him. Basically the same exact situation that happened with Ill Nino recently and the main guys that wrote all the successful songs that made Ill Nino who they are did not win that lawsuit either after they were kicked out of the band by the majority song right holder. It all depends on the contract that was signed and that's for the courts to figure out. Tommy's had many rocky exits from many other bands in the past, this is kind of his MO at this point. He's more than likely the problem, not the other way around. That's my educated speculation.
I love this sonically. Vocally very enthralling,he holds clean and rough styles amazingly. the tempo and time changes make me wanna bounce,the rhythm and lead embrace each other so well. But what are the lyrics trying to say?
