Ethiopia borrowed the concept a few years ago, currently there have finished n absorbed over 60,000 of their unemployed population in into their finished project. Most likely, Konza city is another government cow. Please invite Dr. Ndemo, who was the key brain behind Konza city to come and give citizens some insights on this project. I think this project has become too political. The former ICT CS initiated a similar project in the central region, which made no sense. These are international projects and requires cohesiveness.
They should have a good light railway around the city even if it will b managed by private investors and also BRT and that will complete the transport system that is at a city status .. oh and also an airport, good stadium for sports

I came to see a property around the Konza neighbourhood in 2022 but my heart sank when I saw the skin of a zebra on the land and felt like the settlement is interesting with wildlife conservation. It could be that the zebra had died out of drought. I hope the wildlife will be protected by all and sundry.
