He sounds baritonal. For singtechnicans there's the question "what does he change"? He changes larynx ! More deeper with a soft pressure. The flame is burning on both ends, burning on two ends. Once acertain Maria Callas burned on two ends maybe more. Let them burn, we listen with joy and hope Spyres has found the way for long singing, only burning in passion as ever he wants.❤

I had to look this up... it's the Count singing of his frustration, when it ends up he will not be able to seduce Susanna, quite so easily. One of my favorite operas. very nice!
Just my opinion but the flourishes were unnecessary, and certainly there were too many. I understand artists like to put their stamp on things, but I think it diminished the crescendos and runs.
Hmmmm...I love the singing... BUT... is it OK to mess with the aria this way? Mozart is kind of sacred, so recomposing is very controversial I'd think.
This is...exactly as written? I think one of the later editions changed it (and yes, I strongly disapprove of that), but this was what premiered in Vienna
Mi piace, ha personalizzato l'aria in modo gradevole e armonioso con la partitura originale.
The baritenor par excellence.
Thank you.
Su registro de 3 octavas y tres semitonos, le permite cantar TODO. La belleza de sus armónicos , el timbre y el color de su voz lo hacen único
@@danielrodriguez9630 és lo oposto. un baritono con excelente voz en los agudos. :)
@@lobo2032 muy bien.Baritenor
Arrangiamento e/o variazioni molto azzeccate; complimenti al Signor Spyres !

Michael used the rarely performed Vienna version of this piece.

@@ladyizolde- thanks for this reference
Isn't this a baritone aria?
It is, but Michael as a baritenor sings this piece as his predecessors baritenors such as Nozzari, Garcia, Rubini did.
@@ladyizolde- ah ha! Thanks for explaining. Wow that’s impressive
It's also an alternative tenorial version I've never heard recorded before and didn't even known existed
@@raphaelhudson very funny. If seriously you could also try this aria for a change, it is centrally written so it would suit you quite well.

Interesting version, really different...but it just makes me think of a Tom and Jerry version with Tom singing while Jerry annoys him.. sorry 🙂

The Vienna Version is kinda poo poo
No wonder it is not usually performed today
