Nice work! Worth it for the training benefit but I always find the tiny races quite humbling - you did great to sprint after a 300w effort in race1! I averaged 4w/kg in race1 recently (my best ever race average) and noticed you did the same- well done,! 🎉
Thanks Craig, appreciate that mate! I couldn’t help but give everything in that first race which definitely hampered the next 3 lol! 4wkg is excellent mate, these races definitely make training a little different! 😃
This looks like so much fun, they are at an awkward time for me but I will have to try and make time. I identify with your description if feeling ill hah! It's funny what we put ourselves through.
That’s a shame, I think you’d enjoy them!! 😄 Try and give them a go if you can, they are so good for VO2 training! So funny what we do to ourselves for ‘fun’ lol!!!
@ I can definitely agree that the fitness gains help. I went from barely holding on to staying lose to the front ground at the end. A few more and I’ll be next to you in the top ranks!
Great video Ollie and something a bit different! Loved it. I've only done one of those tiny races last year and it was unreal! Like you say great training though! I guess we're all gearing up for the FRR TOW aren't we! can't wait for that! Stay safe mate and good luck for tomorrow!
Hi Phil, good to hear from you mate! They were so tough but excellent for the legs! That’s excellent to hear you’ll be riding the TOW, can’t wait mate! Hope you have a good one tomorrow too, take it easy mate 👍🏻
That’s brilliant mate, what a jump in category and fitness 👏🏻👍🏻 480 is a very decent score too! I completely agree, it all helps towards continuous improvement- keep going with it mate 👍🏻
Fell into the trap we all do, blast off and finish high in race one then die in the next three! Just done them once and swore I'd never do them again 😁 I'm sure you'll get better at pacing them the more you do Oliie 👍
Thanks mate 👍🏻 I definitely underestimated the amount of energy that first race took, hopefully I’ll pace it a little better next time! Not sure why I’m going back for more - they’re so painful!
Nice work mate in the first race! I honestly was completely cooked in every other race after that so I don’t blame you! 😄 I will be racing it again next week so maybe see you there for all of them 👍🏻
Video idea maybe? I am a dad trying to fit in 4 hours a week around family life. I am trying to use my time to get as fit as possible and started with a mix of zone 2. However Reddit seems to have people saying that on 4 hours you are better off doing hard sessions most or all of the time. The numerical majority seem to be around my fitness level on zwift, so I have a hunch a lot of people are in my situation. Anyway I enjoy your videos, keep up the good work 👍

The starts were absolutely terrible. But it was an awesome race. Great job on getting 5th in the first race. It was awesome racing with you.
I really enjoyed it mate, was great seeing you there - I was looking out for you! 👍🏻 They are super tough but the fitness gains are amazing 😀

These have to be great for 5 min power workouts good job for such hard work
Thanks Guy, these were absolutely horrible but good for the 5 min power - give these a go mate! 👍🏻

Another good Video
Thanks Alistair 👍🏻 much appreciated mate
It’s great following your progress, I myself have gone from cat D to B this season and sat at 480ish on ZRS. All the races help even when dropped.

Omg the tiny race series, a guilty hurt , but I love it . Yeah I know I'm not going to win but pushing me to maximum effort is what I like about it.
It’s a great little training session! Definitely one of those where I’m wishing I was doing something else during but after it feels great 👍🏻
Nice video, btw I also took part in first race, I was second :P
But I was absolutely cooked after it and wasn't able to joint next one :DD

That’s mate that’s very kind of you to say! Great idea re the video - I will ask my coach (Kosta) and we’ll include this in the video 👍🏻
Tour of Watopia as in FRR? I hope to see you out there!
Yes E! Let’s get in the same team mate if you fancy? 👍🏻
@@notpogi yessir! 🫡
hey man i saw i raced againts u :), gl tommorow whit the TTT ;)
Thanks mate 👍🏻 Hope you have a good one too, should be a decent TTT 👍🏻
When is the tour of Watopia? And will you be going for a jersey in it?
Hi mate, early January I believe! I’ve just sneaked into a higher category so will judge it nearer the time, the sprint jersey could be in play! 👍🏻
@ yeah cause I was wondering how the cats work in the tour of watopia are they the same or different like they have been
These things are absolutely brutal. Whenever I do them I always need to take 1 race "off" to recover.
I feel exactly the same! I was thinking maybe I should do the same - may give that a go next time 👍🏻
Zwfit should score these different
I think the zwift racing score keeps evolving as time goes on, been a few changes recently!
