Hi Kireto its already on my list that I am working through. But thank for the mention. Hope you enjoy the channel. If you haven't already done so please consider subscribing to the channel. I always appreciate the support.
@@GuitarMates Geoff Your channel is wonderful. I look and study every lesson of Iron Maiden and not only. I am always excited when you have a new lesson. I am your subscriber on UA-cam and of course I am your fan. Your work is impressive and I know it's not easy to meet the wishes of each of your fans. Die With Your Boots On is a great choice. One of my favorite songs and the lesson is already here. Thank you, Geoff.
Great video but 2 minor corrections...the verse part at 17:30 that has the variation is actually the same as they do it earlier in the song so it's not a variation. The second way you show is correct for all times of that. Secondly,on the part you refer to as the "solo exit" the parts are correct but their roles are reversed. The part you said is Adrian is actually Dave Murray and vice versa. Good job though :)
Lucas Lee it’s already on the list. It’s been requested a few times so it’s going to be done in the near future. Hope your enjoying the channel and the lessons
Sorry one more I'm pretty sure about...the ending...the notes you have are E - D - B - D - B - A - G - E(chord) I'm pretty sure it's E - D - B - A - G - A - G - E(chord). They both sound pretty close to each other but double check pretty sure mine is correct
I notice everyone uses their pinky & index in bar chords. I use my index & ring finger. Would it be a good idea to learn with the pinky or does it make a difference.
Hi Mean Joe. In bar chords I have always used my pinky. I spent such a long time working on developing my pinky that I use it more than my 3rd finger when it comes to chords. Some great guitar players dont ever use there pinky so at the end of the day its personal preference. The main thing is playing the music and sounding good. Nothing Else Matters, to coin the phrase.
Hi Poisof, great to hear from you. Maiden don't tend to use to many effects. The might be a overdrive pedal and some chorus but nothing to exotic. You can do much better than the sound of a cranked marshall.

Iron Maiden has written some of the very best two part guitar riffs. Those guys are beasts
I totally agree, and I do hope I do them some justice. Thanks for the comment.
Love this song. Great lesson Geoff! I am inspired to play for hours now! 😃
Dave Young glad you enjoyed the lesson. We must do more Maiden in the future. Speak to you soon.
