Did you know that Ogres and Oubliettes is actually from the comics? I always find it interesting when they pull something from the comics, this time was no exception. I absolutely loved the episode, glad you did too. Even if to a lesser extent. Shining use to play Ogres and Oubliettes with some of the one-off ponies that we've seen from the show like that one geeky stallion from Putting Your Hoof Down. I was actually wondering if they were referencing the comics with that since I forgot the name of their game. I don't know if there have been other times the show has referenced the comics as I don't read them since I find them to be really hit or miss and I also get fairly irritated with how some fans are when regarding them so highly versus the show as in how they "fix terrible episodes". And yet some still think the comics are canon to the show despite the numerous contradictions there are bewteen the two. Anyways, good catch with chairs thing too. This episode was weird in the sense that I don't know how to feel about it. On one hand I'm happy that they finally did a guy's episode, starring Discord, Spike and Big Mac, and I'm happy that Discord has finally returned, but I don't know. The faces that Fluttershy made was hilarious, the opposite Fluttershy thing was also hilarious, I never got into D&D, although it's weird; I liked when Gravity Falls did it, that was really funny. But, I don't know how to feel about it. I liked Spike's character development keeps continuing, which is nice to see. It was a little slow in some parts, but great in others. I honestly don't know what to think of it, I think this is the first episode in a long time where I've had mixed feelings of.Great reaction though, and can't wait for more! (I kind of hope we get an episode continuing from this one where we see the mane six and Celestia in Yakyakastan though, that would be amazing!). XD. It's not a horrible episode or anything, I just didn't love it as much as I thought I would. But, if I did grade episodes I'd probably give it a 8.5/10, so yeah, for me at the very least, nothing bad, but nothing amazing; in my opinion anyway, great reaction though.

I like that Discord has become evil and speaks in the same voice as in the second season, albeit in the game. He's basically doing here what he did thousands of years ago (as the pictures show, perhaps Discord was truly evil in the past). Here he directly mocks and laughs at fear and pain. perhaps this is a small revenge for the fact that they laughed at him before and this has nothing to do with the past. Celestia actually promotes the evil side of Discord. In reality, Discord is chaos, and chaos is not necessarily evil. he simply bends reality and has fun, and Celestia initially exposes him as evil and a bringer of misfortune. If you make friends with him, you can party together
This was a great episode. Probably my favourite of the second half of this season, so far. Ironically, I actually found the part when they were in the game-world the most boring part of the episode. I mean, I didn't dislike it, and I know a lot of people loved it, but I thought they could have very well skipped it. It was pretty predictable they would end up there, anyway. I loved my childhood... so centered upon the theoretical idea of fantasy sex... so depressing when you can't get laid in the game that literally will prevent you from getting laid for life anyway

Luffyiscool Trust me. It's so funny. It's a Disney satire but a really good satire. It satirizes old Disney movies. My brother likes it and he's in his 20's like me. The main character is funny too. She's hilarious. The first few minutes of the movie is cringe worthy on purpose to make you laugh then later it gets REALLY good. Just give it a chance, please.

Nevermind. Seems like its a roll to find out what happens story. I should not comment within the first 5 minutes.
I think it's because the concept has been done many times before. Trap the most interesting and active person into a seemingly dull and geeky game, then watch him be a jerk until he feels guilty, then he will actually start enjoying the game for real. Gravity Falls did the DnD thing way better IMO. This felt quite weak in comparison, especially the imagination behind the fantasy stuff.
The funny thing for me is that I felt that the episode was kind of weak before I ever saw the DnD episode of Gravity Falls...Though it certainly doesn't help this episode's case, especially when the Gravity Falls one had Weird Al as the villain
It's a score of arrows, not a barrage of arrows. Yes, I counted simply because it reminded me of Stranger Than Fanfiction and I wanted to see if it could be counted as a reference.

This is a great episode. Spike, Discord, and Big Mac have a great dynamic. The DND parody is great. The cameos' with the main six are great.
