Feels like I'm in a special club being a King's X fan. Seems so few people get how great they are (for all the reasons we already know). I was hooked to their music immediately, glad to hear they're just as great people too.
@dfwsupergeek Me too, bot Doug & Jerry @ the Ballard Firehouse gig in 2001. Amazing guys, musicians and great music! The warm-up act was Podunk also great guys from TX!
lucky to see them at scout bar Houston tx. jerry was putin on a drum clinic. solid no show stuff. tasty licks from ty. well sung by 63 pinnick. very tight live. they desevrve so much.
I had virtually exactly the same experience. Met them both after a show at the Whiskey. Hung out with both. Talked with Jerry for a little bit. Huge fan since 1990.
If you think about it, it's a great bill! AIC is a different kind of band that is loved by different genre of music. Sroner, metal, acoustic, etc love AIC cuz they bring that to there music. Kings X does the same! Metal, Beatle harmonies, Soul and one of the best guitarist out there. It can only help Kings X cuz they have been looked over for far too long!
I can't even imagine King's X and AIC on the same bill. Damn! That would rock! That would be one hell of a night of harmonies.

Inez is the sweetest, kindest man in rock music. He is always just the way you see in the video. And he loves his fans!!
I would be in heaven to see King's X and AIC together! I would fly to the ends of the earth to see it. Somebody please make that happen!
Mike Inez...u are a Beast..the Backbone of AIC

Ha ha ,Entwistle. He was probably coked up.
No surprise about the love from AIC. Jerry Cantrell once said in an interview that he would listen to King's X to get ideas for riffs for AIC songs.
