- Taking it outside for the day and doing an on site test fit. I rented a welder to get all my angles and everything set in its exact place before sending off to powder coating.
I think I need to invest in a mobile welder! - Навчання та стиль
Rachel, you're an independent accomplished woman with TOOLS, you're awesome. Great work.
I'am the same way, someone lets me borrow something and bring it back better. Mike will appreciate you doing some repairs to his trailer. In fact, I bet he would let you use it anytime.
Hopefully people are paying attention, that is how friends treat friends !
So much respect for you Rachel. These finishing jobs all to often, have to cover up building mistakes. Nice work.
Thank you, Rachel. I appreciate all you do. Those rails look really nice!
It’s impressive how you are able to think on your feet and problem solve; so important when you’re in the field. The railing really suits that style of home as well.
When your children wish to pamper you, let them and embrace those moments. They will be gone too soon!
Watching you weld them railings just gave me flashbacks to when I use to do a lot of ornamental railings and stairs, oh an lots of stick welding! 😂
Me to, I miss the site work side of it. Just not the miles of railings and gates I used to weld up.
the guy just wanting to help finally realizes the Lady doth not need Help!! Hey, my 20 year old daughter is taking welding classes at her university for theater set design..im a big encourager for her to learn as much as she can. I just purchased a multi process welder ARCCAPTAIN 200 , stick, mig and tig ..to help her practice and in the meantime, learn myself. Will be watching more of your content..
That's awesome! Those multipurpose machines are great!
Rachel love your work and how you communicate, I retired early at 58 from construction, so kinda miss it but some days I feel blessed I was fortunate to do so!
Keep tge great work and love your videos
Cheers 🍻
Loved watching you work. Reminds me of when I was a framer. Now I just drive a Peterbilt.
Rachel you are beautiful and the work that you do is outstanding do not let all the negative people bother you I love watching everything that you do
Hi Rachel I’m new to your channel from uk 🇬🇧 love your work great video keep them coming ❤️😀💯👍🏻
Rachel great job. Wonderful see a woman who can do anything like a man .😊😊😊😊
Railing coming out nice time to invest in a rig for installations saves time be safe out there and keep burning them rods 🤙🏼
Thanks friend!
Always nice having the option to go mobile for sure especially on those nice days. Kinda breaks things up a bit. Nice work as always Rachel...
Great to hear you got an assistant to help you out. Awesome video, Thank you for sharing 😀
@22:00 THAT DUDE HARDCORE CREEPIN'!! LOL!
Great video and nice work. It makes me wanna gear up and get out there again.
Go for it!
He obviously doesn't know you are a real badass!
Rachel you’re one bad ass!! Keep up the good work.
Hello Rachel keep up the awesome work and an awesome vlog ❤ from New Zealand
Hi in New Zeland!
Good morning Rachel time in New Zealand at the moment is 8.10am you have a fabulous day and night and I’ll see you on your next vlog 🙏
A mobile truck would also be a nice build video for you so we could all watch the progress
Wow!, you are a BEAST!, I felt my back go out when you were lifting that box on the trailer Lol!, awesome job!
Test fitting is a good idea, I do that to. And especially before railings go for galvanizing.
Careful of your back, Love. You could have have made a makeshift rail/ramp for that toolbox and dragged it onto the trailer. End of the day, you still got it up there 🤷♂️💪🏽.
🤣🤣I've known women who've said "don't mind my nails" because they're chipped or rough looking, but NOT for the mere fact of them being painted at all 😂💖💗❤
I love it that you're doing install videos. Thank you.
Glad your help is working out better than mine atthe moment....patience, patience, wooosaaahhh🤯😂
Best looking metal worker i have ever seen!
Great video they way you explained everything made it easy to understand the whole process of heat flame straightening thanks alot. I got to straighten out a warped structural steel channel tomorrow at work.
Great job! I can hardly what to see the finished product. You are very capable.
Your work looks great.I would suggest getting yourself a 120 mig welder with inner shield wire.Makes field railing work much quicker and quieter.Nice work.
With all the gear you need for the Job its like packing a Suitcase going on Holidays 😀
Good content Rachel 👏
Looking good!
Here’s something that will help you, when hammer drilling concrete or stone, don’t push on the drill much more than just keeping a little pressure to keep it in hammer .. give it a shot next time., the theory being the drill or hammer needs to be able to move away from the surface in order to gain momentum to hit it again., also your bits will last just as long as they don’t overheat, excess pressure only reduces the hammer impact, and causes more friction heat, these bits do not cut the surface there is nothing sharp there it’s a blunt chisel end..
Thanks for the tip!
great content , and great influence,
Thanks so much!
you need to go around to all the apartment complex in your town and give them an estimate to do repairs then you can quickly pay for a mobile welder. I did lots of work for apartment complexes after I got out of welding school and made lots of money doing it.
You do awesome work.
For what your doing you might want to get the Esab engine drive or the Tomahawk 210 a few times renting that unit and youll pay for one of these. I run the 210 but both units are the size of a decent generator and are on wheeled frames would be perfect for this work. Oh and both run 6010 just fine, and final note I know you like miller i heard you say that but the cost for a comparable Hobart or Lincoln is between 2-3k more.
Great job and nice little shop except for that big blue thing in the way of a nice big red one 😂
Just a little "stick" welding!😂😂😂 You really need a labouer to help you!
great job 😊
A chick that weld's got to subscribe! 👍👍✌️❤️
Awesome!! 👍👍✌️❤️
I seen a ful fence done around a business, they finished it 2 months ago. I was there last week and it's already rusting. I have paint jobs that last for years!
She’s amazing!!!!
Great video 😊
Great video 👍🏼⚘
Great Video!
Thanks for using locked down steady camera shots.
yr like me on my old camping days.. 3 day weekend I pack for Everest.
Awesome job.
*Badass.* Keep up the great work! 🤘🤘🤘
For what it is worth I suggest you try the Pferd .030 cutting wheels I have been using them exclusively for years with no grinder guard and have had no issues, and the super thin thickness makes a huge difference in cutting speed and accuracy. This is just my honest $.02 I am not a rep or influencer or whatever. Keep up the good work!
Easy job I love it 😊
You are awesome!
Je n'ai pas encore vue une femme très très intéligente talentueuse comme elle en Afrique elle vaux mieux que cértain homme c'est incroyable 😂
Unload the tool box. Ha! I’ve done that before. They get heavy in a hurry😂
Great job keep it up 💯👍
Girl, you rock.
My sisters name is rachel she is around your age and beautiful like you. Nice work
Good name :)
Who's like me am focusing on that dirt on jeans.😅
Why don't you invest in one of those little 110V mig welders! That's what every one of our erection crews used for handrail installation! Seriously, they work great! You could also invest in a little generator to power the welder! No more welder rentals!
Hi Rachel, Nice work. Why powder coating and not tremclad paint ? Paint can get runs and powder coating wont ? Take care.
It's funny I spent 5-6 years doing Structural Steel and all other kinds of steel fabrication but I have no idea what those 50lb boxes of welding rod we used cost. That was 20 years ago when I was just a kid, I'm sure whatever we paid it's 2 or 3 times more today.
Bon Boulo Madame 😅🤣👍👍
Nice work. Subed.
Jobs getting done
Sds drill themselves you just hold them firmly. Force was a crime and crime doesnt pay.
Impressive....You Rock!😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 What kind of a Rifle did you shoot your first Moose with? CHEERS!!
Lincoln is fine!😊
If you are going to do this type of work a Lincoln 305g might be a welder to consider . It is not a bad all around welder
I've heard good things about that welder!
Nice job and love your vidio s. But live and fammely coms first its wordt watting voor the vidio sssss ❤😊
Great, Steal is hart and honest! Do you need an practism Mechanik and Master, Hardware developer for Cars and Motorbikes formal also in Steelproduktion as Helper?
❤👍
If you don’t mind me asking, what was the total bid for a railing project like that?
Love watching your welding videos .. I swear I could watch you work and weld all day 😊 .. good job Girl we need more girl welders like you .. keep the videos coming .. 👍🏼
I never weld over fresh poured concrete as splatter goes everywhere and leaves rust marks.
I’m curious what her welding background consists of? She’s an impressive fabricator!
You are a breat of fresh air. Forget about it. Oh BTW, Ladies get herniated too, so be careful laddie.
Great video! Subscribing👍 maybe load your box while it’s on the trailer next time?👍😂
Haha! Good call!
hi rachel i love what u doing with the chevy truck love the new floor pans i wanna follow u along when is the next video avail.thanks EDD avid follower please reply have a good day
Thanks for following along! Working on the vdlidoes to start rolling out asap!!
I’ve never been able to weld stick on thin gauge material. I always end up blowing holes😂. That sounds kind of thin. What wall thickness is that material?
I've had many years of stuck welding when I started out! Tou learn the little tricks! This is .100 wall, so just until 1/8"
Of course she did
Any particular reason why you stick and not mig? Seems easier to blow through with stick and not as nice of welds. Curious which rods you used.
I don't have a mobile mig welder...Stick is no problem on this material with the right rods and the right setting :)
Curious of your safety: couldn’t you get between the stick and the ground clamp when your touching the railing? I realize you had gloves on , but what about your bare skin.
👍
nice....
(CHIC'S RULE).
🤗🤗🤗
Good Jop
Is that a Moose quad?lol
Total babe wow ❤
ENJOYED YOUR VIDEO, I BEEN WELDING 46 YRS MYSELF, WHERE YOU FROM ?

🌟✌️💓💓
cannot hear you wnen you are at the front of the trailer.
Who cares...I just love to watch her work, not just another pretty face. But that works for me.
Beautiful honey
Don’t bother changing tool brands. It will drive you nuts having multiple systems. Stick with what you’re already heavily invested in.
👍🏼😉🇵🇷
Better keep saving, or sell that truck STAT.. a 6.4 will keep you broke!!
your pretty
Ya, I would not have wanted to see you lift that toolbox, fully loaded into your truck
