- In this video we take a detailed look at my Old weathered Route 66 Garage Diorama at all angles with all of my Barn Finds and Projects in Progress diecast. Including cars from Autoworld, Greenlight, and Johnny Lightning with a Supernatural Green Machine 71 Chevelle and a Christine 58 Plymouth ultra red chase car.
That building is just over the top! Goes great with the fixer upper cars.
Thank you Randy and thanks for watching brother
Fantastic buddy love farm cars 😎🏜👍so so cool weathering spot on
Thank you Lou. I love the old farm truck and work trucks to. Have you ever seen the drag racing farm truck? It's an old 68 to 72 long wheel base C10 that literally pulls the front wheels when it launches. It's a beast

Another great video Ron. I have Gibb's Challenger also, it's from Hollywood 10 pack set. Another Project in Progress car in that set is Charlie's Mustang from the original Fright Night movie. Love that diorama!
Thank you brother and thanks for watching
You absolutely killed it! I love stuff like this. Great job!
Thank you brother I appreciate it and thanks for watching
How you been Tim . ?
Mike Espo .
My friend Ben consulted on the design of the Dodge Truck. He owns a 64 CSS with the High Performance Package that come from the factory with the 426 Street Wedge and some other racing goodies. It's one of less than 50 made between 64 and 66, He's spent years trying to track down the other tracks and has found about 25 of them including the 63 prototype. He has one of the test proofs from the tooling and a few of the original runs that were never carded. They came in plastic boxes that were shrink wrapped. I have #42 #101 of the first run, which was a 1966 CSS.
That would be an awsome piece to have.
Well done bro
Keep up your great work!!
Thank you brother and thanks for watching
Very cool 😊👍🏻
Thank you my friend
Nice diorama ✌️🤝👍👏👏👌
Thank you brother
I love this old garage diorama that your buddy made. I agree it is a phantastic job!
The model with the blue cellophan plastic bag is something I noticed a few times in your videos. Was always curious about it - it's a great effect you added there.
You definately have a huge collection of models that can be considered as barn finds.
Thank you my friend. The blue bag does a great job at duplicating a tarp. Thanks for watching
You remembered this time ..... Jethro Gibbs. Lol. That's a lot of run down vehicles you have there you have enough to have that guy build a field diorama with and ol fence around it and you'd have a place to put them all to make it look like a real junk yard .... Oh and don't forget a sign at the gate ... Ron's Towing and Auto Salvage
😂 yes I remembered this time but I almost forgot how to say Jethro lol.. I have thought about such a diorama but I dont have the room maybe in the future. Thanks for watching Mike
As always, your collection and knowledge is great! Another entertaining video, love the mopars and diorama.
Thank you for the support and kind words brother 😊👍
that looks so cool
Thank you my friend 😊👍
Muscle Car never end

Another great video Ron, love the diorama. The Big Lebowski Gran Torino from Greenlight would look well in that set up.
You are right. I used to have it but I traded it for what I cant remember 😂. Maybe one day I will pick it up again. Thanks for watching my friend
Waiting for this awesome video Ron.Your diorama is still awesome. The barn finds castings are awesome.Your collection is 1000% awesome.Love it.
Thank you Shannon I appreciate the kind words and thanks for watching brother
É incrível essas miniaturas feitas come se fossem carros deteriorados.
Thanks for watching my friend
I had to come back and watch the rest of this video. Very cool collection! I'm a sucker for patina builds, even though building weathered cars is kind of what my channel is all about. I have the G body and the 72 Roadrunner as well. I remember being so excited about those when they came out. Of course, that was long before I'd even heard of customizing 1/64 scale cars as a serious hobby. I also have the Greenlight Beverly Hills Cop Nova which looks a lot like a barn find and the "Oh, One can Imagine" non General Lee JL released that came with an resin barn facade. You've got some I hadn't heard of though, so I'll have to keep an eye out. Great video!
Thank you for watching my friend. I am still on the hunt for the barn diorama Charger. They haven't made it to this part of the world yet.
Nice finds and nice review as usual..
And like always : I love the diorama.
Good job bro.
Keep it up.
Thanks brother and thanks for watching
nice
Thanks for watching
Niceee
Thank you my friend 😊👍
Got myself a Christine camero that you showed the other day Ron, did you tell me it was new?, because it says in the listing 2014. Also got a BJ and the bear truck, hart to hart ferrari and a footloose yellow beetle, all very hard to find these days, especially here in the UK.
Congrats brother..in the hot wheels Muscle car video I did old and new releases so I said the Camaro was an older retro entertainment release. I know the others you listed are hard to find and that BJ and the bear goes for a decent price nowadays. ..I will be featuring it in an unboxing video next month
good diorahma!
Thank you my friend
Hey Ron, I just bought two Johnny Lightning Route 66 Chevelle SS's, they have opening hoods and trunks, have you ever seen any?, as I have not seen them before.
Hi Colin, How funny I think I just bought that set called barn finds but they are 65 Z16 Chevelle's not 66's, and if you open it you will see the trunks are a separate piece but they dont open. I was disappointed to find they didn't open and another disappointing feature is that they have plastic bases but overall a great set. I will be doing a barn finds part 2 video on Monday and will be featuring that set. Thanks for watching brother 😊👍
Maybe you are thinking of another set Ron, because the trunks definitely open, its shown in sellers pictures open. I can find none for sale on Ebay, I presume they are rare as the only other cars I have of this scale with opening trunks are ERTL, lone star and Revell. The set is called Route 66, they have name signs for each stop on the route. I will make a video of them along withe the 3 brilliant ertl's I already have.
@@ronsmusclecardiecast I think I have found out why I could not find these cars as they may not be Johnny Lightning cars at all, the seller states them as being Johnny Lightning, but it says "original toy company" on the packaging, I have not heard of this company before, they look very good quality, but depending what they are like, I may have to ask the seller for some money back.
If it's the original toy company they are definitely Ertl & Racing Champions castings. Route 66 was the brand name for K-Mart back in the late 90's and early 2000's from the original toy company who borrowed castings from racing champions and Ertl
So these are definitely a couple of decades old if they are what I think they are. Theres a 69 chevelle with an opening trunk in this series and there might be a 65 because ertl used to make a 65 with an opening trunk. I am pretty sure that's where the body for the JL release came from since the trunk is cut out but doesn't open because racing champions, JL and Ertl were all part of RC2 and were sharing castings long before Round2 took over
You use vinegar a couple of times.
Ron would you happen to have extra weathered Christine from auto world Mijo and auto project daytona M2 that is you're willing to sell which i can buy?
Sorry Caesar these are my only ones at the moment
@@ronsmusclecardiecast not a problem Ron, i enjoy everytime i watch your videos, im hooked again with muscle cars because of you, You are a great influencer! Hahaha!
Actually I just checked I do have an extra Christine in the package. Message me on IG. The link to my IG is in the video description. Also you can find me on fb under the name Ron Hotrod Ward
@@ronsmusclecardiecast hi Ron, thanks, i left a message on your messenger. By the way that new post this morning was great and you are right that car has a weird tire shape but the mercedes limo was really nice, the detail is awesome.
Great I accepted & sent you some pics
Hi Ron, new friend here. Our Diecast Cars Pilipinas fb group, brought me here. Glad to find another fellow diecast car collector & youtube vlogger. Your videos are cool, and you got amazing collections. Hope you can visit my channel too, I feature diecast cars there too, hunting, unboxing & even plays with them on tracks at times hehe. I'm not yet a diorama and car restoration expert. Hope to learn a lot from your videos here. Cheers.
Hello brother. I just subbed to your channel. I live in the Philippines right now. I think my wife is a member of the group you mentioned. I am mainly a collector. My Dioramas are designed by me but built by someone else.
