Could have used one of these a couple months back instead of buying all the special adapter pieces at inflated prices. Good looking tool there guys. Keep it up.
The one used here is a professional level tool. its built to work for years. plus it was used by a professional. makes all the difference. Great Video, Thank you
I had this tool for about 6 years if is the bluepoint never use it correctly. I got used to the cheaper one the spins inside the pipe and give u a final result the first time. Good video tho.
Did you try it in Stainless , if so what type 409 or 304 ? have have a 409 pipe I need to open up about .010 to make it fit a weld on v band clamp fit better.
One of my guys played this for us in the office and said "That's how Obama and Mike get ready for date night". My sides still hurt from laughing so hard.
Straight to the point... Thank you...

ok so these things do work. just watched half a dozen videos on this and not 1 moron actually properly demonstrated it. thumbs up
This one is different to those 3 for 1 jobbies

I wouldn’t even bother buying the cheaper 3pc sets, they’re awful and stripped the threads pretty fast
earned my sub for helping pfi speed and the whole gang thanks nore companys should follow suit so knowledge is easier to learn
Hey, thanks Gerard! The guys at PFI are a great example for the rest of the car community.
I love it when it slides in with a good fit.
I am more impressed with the fact the pipe did not spin in the vice. Either the pipe is egg shaped or that vice has some nasty teeth on it....🤭😏🤨
1970's Yost 32C we restored, original pipe jaws!
All I have to sai is that Astro is one fine company.
Surprisingly easy to hold anything from rotating when using an impact gun. Well judging from your username you should know.
@@petrolheadJJ Check out south Main Auto. I've learned enough to know not to even think about buying or working on some stuff and I live in the south.
The tool has a bearing. I would think there would little turning action on the pipe as the force is used to compress along the bolt.
Astro Tools Always Impress... Amazing!
Are these rubber bands? Had you used steel springs you could put heat in the pipe first.

Will this work with Stainless steel pipe ? Are the larger collets steel or alum ?
Will it work with 1 1/2'' steel tubing
Am I thinking what everyone else is thinking?
My Astro light broke and I emailed you guys and never got anything back
What email address did you send it to? Could you please send another to NFisher@astrotools.com referencing this with your address?
Nice
... Would this work,on a Titanium pipe,with a seam ?.
How big/powerful impact gun do you need to use this tool? I bought this kit and my impact won’t do anything to the pipe!
About 450 ft-lbs Max torque (not nut busting) for most exhaust
Лучше гидравликой.
Where does the grease that was supplied with the kit go?
Likely on the bolt threads help save them
👍
#boostedboiz #pfispeed Let's go... #astrotools
actually N.78835 .
Very nice tool I could use the shit out of that tool
Passa seu contato porfavor
try grind some groves into the pipe
I'd click two likes if I could.
For those saying good things about this tool? I'll bet no one has tried it on stainless. Mild steel: Good. Stainless: Not so much

@@jasonsherlock7480 I was able to get the one I bought off clamazon, without hyd. assist, to work for the small amount I needed .
