WOW! Such an impressive locker room and facilities. I'm a USC Trojan Alum and Penn State really knows how to treat their players and raise the bar for an athletic facility. I know Penn State delivers world class academics and athletics. This clearly represents the athletic side. "We Are" is linked to The Cotton Bowl '47-48 and how they questioned Penn State bringing an African-American player. Penn State responded that when there was a doubt to if African-American players would or could be part of Cotton Bowl game. Many later teams, cheerleaders and university students at Penn State responded with..."We Are Penn State" as if we do not lower our standards and bow to prejudices.

I don’t understand anybody who still wants to live in the past and the scandals! Just because one guy or a few guys were not gonna all get into it messes up why does then everybody have to say the whole university it wasn’t the kids fault! It wasn’t everybody in the universities fault! People predicted after the scandals penn state would never recover and never be a good football team and if they were itd be years and years! And they worked their ass off to rise from pretty much the ashes and proved everybody wrong! People still wanna hate the kids but they are doing great things!

Why I Love New York City on Instagram my dad works for the university and I wasn’t talking about penn state living in the past I was talking about everybody that still hates on the university when none of the coaches or anything involved in the scandals even work for the university anymore lol
Steel City Renegades I will never forget the way students and alumni reacted. They cried over JoePa. They cried over the sanctions. They blinded themselves to the situation because they're obsessed with a school they went to. They chose football over children. They cried on social media because the mainstream media was crucifying JoePa and the administration and they couldn't figure out why. One couple was interviewed in a newspaper and they said the sanctions were "their 9/11." At least one of the *victims* was bullied out of his school because he ruined PSU football. Penn State kids wrote on social media that they were being victimized!!! It just wasn't faiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrr! NEVER ONCE did I see these young adults acknowledge the horrid things that happened. The boys didn't matter. I will never let PSU off the hook until it's culture changes.

it’s really sad and disheartening that the majority of these comments are people who can’t grow up and aren’t mature enough to move on from the past. this scandal happened in 2011. we have rebuilt everything from our program to our coaches to our players. no one wants to hear about this anymore. we’ve all heard it a million times. have some respect to the victims. you think they like it when people like this bring it up every chance they get? also, this was a mistake made by a few people. not the university. not the students. not the players. not the coaches. not the professors. not the alumni. not the fans. please think you go putting anything up here. you never know if it could hurt someone. these are very sensitive topics to some people, and they don’t take it lightly. it’s not a topic to joke around about or use as an argument as to why penn state isn’t a good football team. when people constantly joke around with it and act like it’s no big deal, it really shows how completely uneducated, disrespectful, and plain out rude they are.

The Scandal is the former penn state coaching staff molested innocent children. It’s a stigma that doesn’t ever go away. No matter what. Penn state will always be a dirty school to almost everyone. I feel bad for them. The penn state staff though did nothing about. I don’t know why these guys would play football there but I’m glad some athletes are still giving it a chance.
