The Man Who Yelled (35mm Scan)

A 35mm raw scan of Mo Willems' "The Man Who Yelled". Purchased on eBay.

This was a student film Mo Willems did at NYU in the early 1990s. Like most student films, this was originally shot on 16mm, but was blown up to 35mm for festival screenings. Hence the more visible grain than a typical 35mm print. Still a neat find!

Haven't seen this one for a while. I met Mo at a book signing years back, and I think he was impressed when I brought this film up. Also impressed that I had brought a Sheep in the Big City comic (back up story to a Johnny Bravo comic book) he did that he forgot about.

Dunno if I first saw this at an animation festival, but definitely on home video, probably vhs. Guess he didn't get royalties if he didn't remember it.
