Thanks for uploading this! Always great to see film transfers of old Terrytoons, especially the Cinemascope ones! I'm curious, were 'Scope lenses this soft, or is the aberration and blurring round the edges a result of the 16mm print?
I talked to the scanner about it "Quazza" and he mentioned it was just the print. It was warped and had dye alignment issues. Still looks pretty good despite all that!
@@VennyRestore Seems like long shots tend to show a lot of reflections of light on the edge of cels like on the left side, caused by the animation cels used.
Looks to me like this is supposed to be presented in a curved widescreen presentation, like a lot of theatrical Terrytoons from the era, which probably explains the odd "squeeze" effect around the edges
