- Gingka is a whiny baby, and Sora should've been the protagonist of the Beyblade Metal Fight Saga. What do you think his beys would've been in Metal Masters and Fury? A 4D Cyber Pegasus would've been sick.

Honestly sora would’ve been a dope main side character especially the fact he has a Pegasus too, they really made his bey look interesting and probably could’ve been the one to inherit ryuga star fragment for a evolution of cyber instead of Sagittario even though I’m still happy Sagittario did get a extremely dope evolution
As cool as that sounds, there’s a problem with that. Cyber Pegasus is based on the same Pegasus constellation as Gingka’s Pegasus, meaning it wouldn’t qualify as a summer constellation. However, it would have still been awesome to see him use Wing Pegasus in the anime, although I don’t remember if Wing Pegasus debuted in the manga and toyline before or after the anime’s conclusion.

He actually DOES get a main protagonist role, actually... In a Japan-only DS game (which we got a shittier version of in the U.S. as the DS Metal Fusion game). In the Japanese version, Sora's Cyber Pegasus is given an origin story, and tied into the mysterious Bloody Beelzebrute, which came from the same meteor as Cyber

I think a super missed opportunity was not letting sora face off against ginka in the battle bladers fight. Think about how awsome that would be, 2 Pegasus beys putting on a pure power battle
anyone notice how before sora launches it looks like he has a regular winder but then launches and its a string launcher, i knew the animation errors were bad but not this bad.

I kinda agree with you. Sure i still do believe there are probably better candidates but sora would be better in my opinion. Idk i just don't really like gingka as a protagonist. He doesn't have much a personality to me outside of blading and he wins all the time ans sometimes for stupid reasons. I get hes the protag so ofc hes gonna win, but i feel like he would have been a more likeable character if he didnt start off more powerful the most of the main cast. I kinda have this problem with tyson too from the original series but he atleast does have some sort of progression from where he started and loses every once in a while. Plus he kinda has an ego. But this is more about gingka amd sora so imma keep it short even tho i dont think i could really do that anymore. But i think sora wouldve been a better protag or atleast side character simply because of the fact that he has alot of progress to make and thus improving as a character as ling as the stroy goes on
if gingka followed a more traditional arc he would totally be more likeable, kenta really is the protag, as he follows the underdog, weak to strong arc way better than gingka
So I was like only in one or two episodes of the anime I actually like so his personality and I wouldn’t actually have minded him to be the main protagonist because he does possess cyber Pegasus and he can almost copy Gingka’s Pegasus star blast move.

I would'nt go so far as saying the whole of metal fight, but i would have loved to see sora as Gingka's replacement in metal masters we could say that Gingka couldn't attend the world tournment because we and maybe Hyoma are in Koma village and sora takes his place (this is supported with him takeing a large point base in the tournment qualifiers) Sora is my all time favorite beyblade character and i hate that he so shafted i didn't have a problem with Gingka when i was younger but the more i rewatch metal fight the more annoying he becomes (also the generation in burst we see the BLUE blading protag turn over the the title to a RED blading protag so yeah) plus in zero g we see a old hotter him and RYUTO when did they meet we bever get to see that with him as the protag of metal masters we could see more of him in metal fury including him meeting Ryuto

Gingka‘s dub voice in german is so so much better which is why I can’t relate to the hate but I do admit that his english dub voice is ridiculously annoying and probably ruins the character for english speaking audiences
