GoPro Hero 11 Back MINI is so compact and well balanced on the DJI Avata: I was able to fly smoothly despite a flimsy base tape and fishing lines! Can’t wait to get a more permanent GoPro Mount!

Does the 11 mini affect the avata flight characteristics greatly? Any interference with the rc/ live video feed/ GPS? Have you tried it on the dji fpv drone too? Also wondered if it's necessary to have the 11 mini on the avata now the latest update added 10 bit support to the avata camera..Thank you
Great questions: surprisingly, Avata flight is smooth except in extreme manual mode moves. No GPS-RC interference was seen. FPV drone is tricky (will publish soon). GoPro beats the Avata even 10 Bit color, in the sunny day shadows with better dynamic range plus 5.3K resolution. Unfortunately, once you see it you can never go back…. If you’re just flying for fun I would not mount the GoPro.
@Cyberhawk365 thanks for your reply..I was thinking of getting the 11 mini for my dji fpv drone and as a backup for the avata but now I'm interested in the gopro hero 11 mini I cannot seem to find any nd filters for it.. do they not exist/ can't be mounted to the mini 11 for getting more motion blur etc? Thanks once more

How does the Avata fly despite the 133 grams weight of the Hero 11 Mini? I may need to get one before the winter snow and freezing weather!
It flew so much better than expected, but I haven’t tried flips, rolls or deep dives yet!
I know it flies fine with the Black but you can tell the battery life is a lot less. I got a mini but I'll be going naked soon.
Are those the stock motors? What are the red covers?

@Cyberhawk365 thanks. The footage looks great. I already have an 11 mini for mountain biking so I'm thinking of trying it on an avata. How much did it impact battery life and thermals?
Flew 5 min, battery down to 50 percent. Safer to not push it in my opinion. No heat issues when flying over 20 mph (also would not fly over 35 mph).

How did you use fishing lines? Haha!
Unfortunately, the GoPro camera mounts for the Avata are on backorder so I had to rig the standard mount using fishing lines :(

What happened?
DJI AVATA flew really well but I did not test extreme drone moves like rolls, flips and steep dives.
