- 7 1/4” Society AGM at the Echills Wood Railway ( www.ewr.org.uk/ ). Visiting as a guest at Richard Priestley’s kind invitation - absolutely brilliant couple of hours behind Balrog out on the line after a VIP guided tour of the sheds.
It doesn’t get better than this 👍. I’m glad ‘our’ K36 was there. It’s fantastic. The builder is following it up with a Challenger. He’s finished the tender and running chassis. Just boiler, cab and piping up to come. It’s going to be a beast of a loco. And yet there’s always a welcome for the smallest loco too.

@@FeckHallBahn Yep! It takes a fair bit of courage to do model engineering of really big locos. The engineer is Paul and he likes to fabricate (weld-up) parts wherever he can, rather than use castings.
