These houses were built around 40 years ago. Sadly, most of the houses built in the last 80 years do not have any special quality of design, artistry, or character. However, they are in a valuable location. Eventually they will likely be replaced rather than spending a huge sum of money remodeling.
That doesn't look like Bel-Air to me. The houses in Bel-Air cannot be seen from the street, they have high hedges, huge gates and long drive-ways making it very difficult to see the house. This looks like any regular neighborhood in L.A.
That's totally untrue. Some parts of Beverly Hills have sidewalks and some parts don't. The same can be said for Bel Air. You can probably find videos of Beverly Hills (the flats) where there are miles and miles of beautiful homes with sidewalks on tree lined streets.
Why are they never any people around laughter chatter fun always seem like there for show No one lives there ..do a evening one see if there’s lights on in any houses 😊😊
@1NeverunderStood i would hate to have people constantly talking and chatting! And some people don't want their kids playing in the front without supervision so your point is moot
Surprised at how few houses have fences and gates. Conceivable someone could knock on the door of a movie star and talk to them. There were a few houses I liked.
Lots of gauche, garish architecture. Only a handful of all of these homes have elegant simplicity. Lots of refits on '70s Mansard Rood styles homes, which does improve them (they were rarely aesthetically pleasing even when they were first built). The ranch houses with the inner courtyard areas still hold out. Bel Air is no Hancock Park. Can't imagine spending so many millions on a home that has a foot of space between itself and its neighbors.
Great video of yours. We had a friend who moved from there a few years ago. It was a beautiful house. Unfortunately she lived alone and everything going on in LA concerned her. She moved to Marin, CA safer but almost as expensive. It's nice to see neighborhoods well taken care of 🙏. Thank you again.
I'm shocked by how old most if the homes are. I'm especially shocked because many of these homes are ordinary and no different from my neighborhood. Some homes look like homes I see in Mexico in the not so high end neighborhoods.
Really impressed, beautiful! Thank you!
Very beautiful. I love how each house has its own charm and uniqueness. The new homes today look like oversized cookie cutter boxes.
I wasn't wowed by anything I saw. Bel Air looks and feels very outdated. Very nostalgic. Takes me back to the Brady Bunch era.

Gosto de calmaria, mas parece que não tem mais proprietários...as casas que tem carros na frente, tudo bem. Mas as outras parecem esquecidas...

I’ve been to Bel Air and a lot of the homes has gates and impossible to see the homes.
Ok Mr wet blanket
Nice! Can you do Pacific Palisades, Encino and Woodland Hills?
Thanks, I'll try to do it soon
I agree Bellair looks dated. But good job filming. Every home has a three car garage.
Love the diversity of architecture in these neighborhoods.

the main difference between bel air and beverly hills is the presence of sidewalks.
exactly
So which of them doesn't have sidewalk?

Apparently you didn't see vehicles parked in front of or in garages at nearly every home.

I like the houses though I can never afford one.
Every house looks different, adds character. Not like today
they're all designed square and boring.
Looks like regular houses to me no big deal
We heard that this area of LA loves to give away full size candy bar's & listen's to Ms. Angelina Jordan's music on Halloween...
Gohead !🥂
Like they say water water everywhere not a drop to drink money money everywhere not a life to live❤❤🎉🎉
