The interior looks so much better now compared to how it looked when Aaron and Candy Spelling lived there. It is a beautiful huge estate and nothing like it will ever be built again. I remember watching a documentary about the property being constructed and Candy wanted to make it even bigger than it is but Aaron thought it was big enough. The Manor was built in 1988 and the construction cost then was $12 million.

I love the renovations done on this beauty! I saw the original interior in a video with the original owner years ago! And that decoration was atrocious! It was as if someone took all the horrible colors of the 60s and 70s! And dumped them in the mansion! When I heard that Petra Ecclestone bought it and renovated it, I was waiting to get a peak to see the new renovations! I know that Petra sold the house, so this new decorations must be from the new owners! love what the new owners did with the place! it's beautiful!
The original owner was Aaron Spelling. There’s a documentary on his wife packing up the house for a move to a penthouse in LA.

I know! Its annoying that we see the same 10 rooms all the time. Like wheres the Kitchen or the other 2 bars, other bedroom suites upstairs?
To be honest I’d buy it just because the legendary Spellings’ lived there and I believe energy is real, to share the same home as the legend behind 90210 & Melrose place that I loved , yes it’s worth it, for now I would settle for a short stay 🤩!

A beautiful house and land, but 12 bedrooms and 27 baths are excessive. Nearly 18 months on the market shows you just how bad it is to live in LA and California. High taxes, high crime, additional 'mansion taxes' means the ultra wealthy homes are going empty. And there's an unfinished renovation project just three doors down, as well as the Playboy Mansion a few houses down after that.

Lake Norman Mansion is a private island with a mansion 25% smaller than this one with a guest house, tennis court, a dock etc worth $22 million. $137 million for this is way too much. I don't care how rich someone is.

With California taxes and then additional 'mansion tax' added on, the 💩-fest California is becoming, all of these oversized properties are becoming unwanted. What billionaire has a dozen or so kids to fill it up? Even if half the rooms are used by staff, you have another six that need to be filled.

Even if you were a billionaire and could afford it, the Manor's excessiveness is simply vulgar. Imagine the loneliness of when Candy Spelling lived there by herself.
Most billionaires would use this as a holding property. Nobody would actually live in it.
It's no different then buying a 5M super rare hyper car, nobody buys those to use as a daily, they buy them to just have in the portfolio.
