Gamma For "Survive the Ark" I recommend putting many levels into speed so you can outrun and shoot from long range the dino's at first stage, then buy yourself some cryopod-dinos so enemies aggro onto them, and you basically just keep distance and shoot them until the end. I also recommend getting the minigun and many cryo-dino's, on gamma it's easy win Also, make sure you camp near these jump pads, so you can run away incase of emergency
thx for the sum-up, this made my decision on stopping playing genesis 2 easier. I had so much pain (5-10 tries) in just trying the first enforcer race on gamma due to the massive lag. Now seeing what would've awaited me.... I just stop it altogether. Again thx!
I'm color blind. I've had issues with the drops in the past. The drops weren't really a big deal. These challenges are a real headache. Wildcard needs to create color blind mode. Most games offer a color blind setting at launch.
I found the space dolphins missions ok on controller. They were a pain at first but if you just use the right stick to move (you don’t get much movement) and ignore the left stick it works much better. A lot of the time it will automatically turn you around corners or vertically to go through the map

I learned to control the Astrodelphis but THE HOVER SKIFFS HAVE 28K HP and on pc or when gen 2 came out IT WAS 8K HP DEFINITELY IMPOSSIBLE AND THE ASTROCETUS HAS LIKE 15K HP IS THIS A JOKE?

For star dolphin, it heads in the direction of your crosshair, I beat gamma no problem cause its not too hard to avoid all the obstacles once you know that, haven't tried beta or alpha yet
The only race that’s possible on The consoles is the maewing one , the rest are sooo fricking laggy , and ofcourse the fear of blue screen every 20 seconds
By the way, were you using WASD to control the astrodelphis during the space dolphin mission? Cause those cause it to barrel roll, you have to aim using the mouse. I just completed it and it was actually pretty fun

Star dolphin on alpha you cant hit sh1t cuz if you dare to even tickle a wall or an enemy half of your health got nuked plus the bugged controls makes it even more hard PD: god i want that omniwrench to be a skin for the axe
I only play singleplayer and these missions a really bad experience. Either way too difficult or too easy. The controls are really bad too. In genesis part 1 there were at least some creature races. Unfortunetaly you need them for a Tek stryder so thanks for the info.

Astrodelphis driving is insane. The delphis will fly in the way the circle of your cursor is showing, you can adjust aswell with roll left and roll right, but basically it is insanely difficult
Once you get over the frustration of hitting every single wall while learning, or trying to learn the controls, it becomes quite manageable. Once you understand it, Star Dolphin ends up being the only dungeon with a good probability to finish solo.
Star Dolphin isn't that hard, you just need to learn the controls. Look up a video for it. Also I should add the same goes for most of the missions, they're far from impossible they just take time to learn
No you don understanf its damn buggy on console im on ps5 and when i start after flying it for 2 sec my screen starts freaking out and my dolphin was getting attack by something to the point i teleport out of the map trued it multiple tine but its still the same

And yeah you can fly out of the map which seems like a big issue but once you learn the controls you dont fly out of the map anymore. I've beat gamma and beta and I'm thinking of beating alpha soon and once I learned the controls nesting those was fairly easy though stressful lol. Anyways I recommend learning the controls for a while. It takes a bit but helps a lot
If you're on official they run plugins that drop items to their armour/damage cap, so while the loot on this may be on vanilla settings, SP won't be subject to things like the 700% longneck BP he gets only being 298% when crafted.

Yeah I'm playing on console controller doesn't work either. Can't control camera at all, half the time I'm looking at the dolphins head or belly or phased into it's polys and the other half I'm smashing into everything bc it steers way to slow
If a mission doesn't say anything about tames you can bring a pack of whatever dino you want. You have to pay attention to if it says one mounted tame, no tames or nothing.
Code Red was actually pretty successful with a mutated Spino, but I will warn you that the Chalis throwing poop at you will take up so much of your time
survive the ark is unlimited so far ive seen i did 44waves and every 10 it said rewards quality increased too bad i couldn't see the loot cause server crashed while i was trying to exit mission so it auto killed me and everything i had on hand was lost
The canno is basically a rock magnet with 0 reaction to the controls and the astrodolphis mission controls are compleatly diffrent than the ”real” astrodolphis controls and just flipps oven and flies through the walls!!
This Video has alot of misinformation and caused a lot of people to quit the map for no real reason. drops are rng related so the drops you show aren't the only drops nor are they the best qualities you can get. The only missions truely "impossible" are not actually impossible just luck and skill related due to a glitch and that's the dolphin missions(when you shoot it always shoots off to the side which makes it hard to complete as it's meant to shoot straight ahead). You went into survive the ark with 100 armor( starter tek suit has 20 armor each piece) basically any flak or riot you get from supply crates will have more armor on one piece than you had total and you don't get tek suit powers in missions so you just gimped yourself. I'm guessing your shadowmane was fresh tamed unimprinted or bred as well. these missions are meant to be hard but they aren't impossible you just have to work harder to get to the point you can clear them unlike genesis 1 which overshowered you with loot and easy missions. And team downriver is meant to be done in a team but still fully do-able solo.

So ,I completely disagree with most of your assessments. These are meant to be done with team mates. Makes them much easier. You need good armor for code red and survive the ark. Tek rifle and a good dinosaur. Star Wing is possible on gamma at least; you just are not good a controlling it. Some of these mission do definitely feel impossible especially with out team mates.

Kinda old but don't agree on Starting missions, they are really easy, even more easy for me since it's basically copy paste of Star Fox, survive the ark on gamma is easy as heck, get the Tek pistol and 20 dimophordon and don't freaking grab the bow, grab the spear
solo most of them are rly junk and annoin but the harder ones u can only finish with 5 ppl i think(even then idk if its finishable) , i can explain the canou missions to u and its easy ^^ the first one u showed us is a player vs player the second one u can do together with 2 friends
Missions on Genesis 1 were lame. Missions on Gen2 are absolutely stupid. ARK was a phenomenal game because of the survival aspect, and obviously, the creatures. Missions ruin the immersion. Missions are annoying, tedious, and often impossible for anyone on an older computer, as lag destroys your chances of efficiently fighting waves of enemies, or your ability to quickly take turns and make it through the races within the time limits. Wildcard is lucky they hit it out of the park with the concept, before anyone else did it. Because they sure have been a shitshow of doubling down on bad choices for the past few years. They've lost touch with the core of what makes ARK great: Survival, taming, building, and crafting. That said, I do have to give credit to the ARK devs and modders involved in the creation of really cool stuff, like the unique and useful tames, and beautiful maps.
Every missions are doable without too much hair pulling. Down river alpha, star dolphin alpha and survive the ark alpha tho...it's another level of WC bullshit. We still have to see anyone on our cluster clearing star dolphin and survive the ark, pretty sure it s not gonna happen
Survive the ark is probably the second easiest after maewing. Just bring a couple sets of armor.. the enemies do very little damage and you one shit everything.
This video is so fun It should be a loot showcase, but shows only the loot for ONE mission, on the lower levels, and many missions are put as impossible, even if there are dozens of guides for them.
The Star Dolphin is a little easier once you realize two factors: 1. The Dolphin will drift in the direction of the reticle. 2. The reticle does not respect if you play with an inverted Y-Axis.
I beat the star dolphin but you are supposed to control it with the right stick on Xbox and I’m not sure on pc but it gets really hard at the finale part the first two obstacle courses are easy then you have to take out 4 waves of astroids and ships then u gotta fight master control helmet guy it’s so hard

on xbox serie x there invisible wall in the water that cause up to stop completely,,, for the astrodelfis the only way to do it is with mouse and keybord
space dolphin is 10X easier with a mouse i play pc but always use controller (i come from ps4 offical so all the worst parts are built into me already lol) and switched back to mouse just for that mission
I actually really like star dolphin and starwing strike, but it is impossible to do on controller because the sensitivity is really low but I plugged in my mouse and keyboard and it is so much better
I am pretty piss off with the mission because they are soo buggy it really bad and I was doing a boat mission A BOAT MISSION and I didn't pass it because it was soo buggy and it didn't let me drive the God dam boat but I love the map it good but the only bad thing is the mission wildcard should take their time on it but nope they just rush it just like that they should fix the missions and the dlc too

I’ve done all gamma on official pvp i run the gamma survive the ark solo to increase the taming it can be done some are just really hard and lag really screws you over half the time, and yes the mission was bugged it’s fixed but still hard for Xbox use only you right stick and max sensitivity

What makes matters worse for some missions being seemingly impossible is you need to do them to tame a high level stryder...
Not to mention it says 49 missions on some stryders when all we have is 35 missions max including rockwell

starwing can be run without doing anything on Gamma and Beta. Just drop the controller and go get a drink and come back in 5 minutes.

are these official settings and is the loot shown from a single run through the mission becuase i never get more then 1 item from completing a mission
This was one run each of gamma, beta, and alpha with single player settings as vanilla as it comes

i just spent 4 hours failing circuit chase, even on gamma these are rediculously difficult

Me and my friend took on the alpha star dolphin mission and surprisingly completed it first try and we both got ascendant longnecks
I had a pretty easy time on gamma and beta, but the alpha kicked my ass, that one was very difficult

A lot of missions are Impossible... I tri some ones in God mode to see the quest and is impossible

Use the R3 stick to move the blue circle on the HUD for the dolphin missions. L3 stick is for rolls

Wildcard is lucky they hit it out of the park with the concept, before anyone else did it. Because they sure have been a shitshow of doubling down on bad choices for the past few years. They've lost touch with the core of what makes ARK great: Survival, taming, building, and crafting.
That said, I do have to give credit to the ARK devs and modders involved in the creation of really cool stuff, like the unique and useful tames, and beautiful maps.
Every missions are doable without too much hair pulling. Down river alpha, star dolphin alpha and survive the ark alpha tho...it's another level of WC bullshit. We still have to see anyone on our cluster clearing star dolphin and survive the ark, pretty sure it s not gonna happen

Survive the ark is probably the second easiest after maewing. Just bring a couple sets of armor.. the enemies do very little damage and you one shit everything.
I got gamma dolphin strike done after so many tries, other dolphin with 2 people carrying me through, surviving missions with 2 others

It should be a loot showcase, but shows only the loot for ONE mission, on the lower levels, and many missions are put as impossible, even if there are dozens of guides for them.
star dolphin is possible i have done it on gamma beta and alpha so your game was bugged and the same as bij star wing
The Star Dolphin is a little easier once you realize two factors:
1. The Dolphin will drift in the direction of the reticle.
2. The reticle does not respect if you play with an inverted Y-Axis.

I beat the star dolphin but you are supposed to control it with the right stick on Xbox and I’m not sure on pc but it gets really hard at the finale part the first two obstacle courses are easy then you have to take out 4 waves of astroids and ships then u gotta fight master control helmet guy it’s so hard
Can your tame die in the missions?
Yes but if you die, the mission will cancel and your tame will be chilling by your body
That stupid down hill team canoe is so buggy and glitchy,we always get stuck on invisible barriers and we even floated above the waterfall,like bruh

@@arkblowoutgaming right? And plus on ps4 some of the missions are missing so we are very limited to the amount we can do in order to tame a good level strider
on xbox serie x there invisible wall in the water that cause up to stop completely,,, for the astrodelfis the only way to do it is with mouse and keybord

space dolphin is 10X easier with a mouse i play pc but always use controller (i come from ps4 offical so all the worst parts are built into me already lol) and switched back to mouse just for that mission
I actually really like star dolphin and starwing strike, but it is impossible to do on controller because the sensitivity is really low but I plugged in my mouse and keyboard and it is so much better
I am pretty piss off with the mission because they are soo buggy it really bad and I was doing a boat mission A BOAT MISSION and I didn't pass it because it was soo buggy and it didn't let me drive the God dam boat but I love the map it good but the only bad thing is the mission wildcard should take their time on it but nope they just rush it just like that they should fix the missions and the dlc too

I’ve done all gamma on official pvp i run the gamma survive the ark solo to increase the taming it can be done some are just really hard and lag really screws you over half the time, and yes the mission was bugged it’s fixed but still hard for Xbox use only you right stick and max sensitivity
