Thank you, now I know I know I don't have to go through the garbage I had to back in Abberation... I'm going to do a little extra prep first like setting up a taming pin and getting some creatures to help round up XP but over all this will be SO much faster than what I did in Abberation.
Thanks for this guide! My friend and I did this and we were successful, but just barely. We were able to get 5 reaper queens into the pit (my friend accidentally aggrod a summoner), and 3 had already died. The highest lvl one, a 120, picked me up to knock me up and a lvl 20 one was running up to kill me, which it did instantly. It took a long time to respawn and I was on the edge of my seat wondering if I got it. When I saw that impregnate timer I was like oooohhhh niicceee. Now we have a giant purple/blue reaper king ready to be cloned over and over again.
I still wish that the health debuff wasnt a thing, i realy can feel it on my giga:( lvl 430 and only 17k health and everytime i lvl it, it goes up to 17 health. Luckily you Cant realy feel it on Reapers since its still pretty tanky with its armor
@@ZeroDiamond it does actualy especialy, when i was lvling my giga it took so much damage from stegos. In pvp with the minigun and other stuff being a thing im very sure that a giga with less health is much worse than the normal giga
sry mate but if you put points in hp on a Giga u are next lvl lost.. doesnt matter if its a normal Giga or the R Variant. Tamed Gigas always have around 17-18k hp and they dont get anything if u lvl it. If u breed them and fully imprint u will have a 34-35k hp giga.
@@silas7854 you need it to be imprinted and even if u lvl hp it'll gain less than 100 hp it's just a waste just pump damage it'll eventually be good enough to not get killed

Lets be frank, both Genesis and Genesis part 2 are late game content in their entirety. Both maps are set up for characters that are high level already and have just transferred in from other maps.
My first tame was a dolphin also the new tek doesn't take rad damage on any of the other maps if you have the gen base suit and ele and it never breaks making it useful for drake taming
I did this and got it to under 2k hp but it killed me and unfortunately the server I was on was about to have its daily reset so I lost the 210 max lvl reaper queen
You prolly wont see this. Never tamed a reaper before. Got on genesis 2 and followed your guide. Got a 210 raising as i write this. Awesome video bro Gained a sub from me!!!
This helped so much! I have never gotten a Reaper and this made it almost a peace of cake! It turned out to be a beautiful Cyan/blue color and I love it!! However I’ve been trying to get a second one and the Queens keep killing themselves by running back into the acid after I get them below 2k or getting glitched into the walls and dying :/ Lost a decent high lvl queen. Starting to settle for low levels now.
I just used this technique for the first. Lots of traps on the map but I don't have one so this was alot better for me..thanks heaps. Before someone let me.get preg using their trap but now I can go solo
If you to farm the reapers, you can do the Syntac way of farming them, instead you’re going to build a trap in there next to the swamp, then lead it in and it’ll stay there for as long as you want it
However, there is a downside to R-Reapers. Because of how its health calculation works, the R-Reaper has 20% less health instead of the expected 3%, and I haven't seen any extra stats to compensate for it.
Ark dev: hey let's put out this dlc with the player having a infinite element tek suit that can carry thousands of pounds the pve players are gonna love this fellow ark dev: but what about the pvp people Ark dev: pvp?
Based on server data the majority of people play PvE so it doesn’t matter. PvP has been terrible and always will be. No need to feed the cesspool anymore.

So the carniflowers that are already dead and don't wake up you can actually harvest for blackpearls element shards and spoiled meat. As well as raw meat
I think gen 2 was a way for newer and struggling players to compete with bigger tribes like megas, it's so much easier to get tames and mega tier loot to actually defend yourself with, I hope they don't nerf it since it equals out the game a bit now

Since the biome is Rockwell's innards that "dirty acidic swamp water" is actually Rockwell's stomach acid.

This is gonna help me a lot. The fact that it has less HP makes it easier to tame. But rockwell's inners is still gonna be a challenge

Wow I literally got one in less than 30 mins with no preparation, great video!

HP doesn't matter if it can kill in 1 bite or in pvp it depends on how quick it rages

I've got a feeling that the "swamp water" is actually stomach acid
I use the Awesome Spyglass mod and if you look at the acid with it, the spyglass says it is "acidic blood" for what it's worth.
Bring stimulants, I just got one shot knocked out on a cliff 100 torp and rising steadily
