For anyone wondering: the voice says しょうもんばかりしているとぼうこんがくるぞ (shoumon bakari shiteiruto boukon ga kuruzo) which means something like "if you play in the water too long, a spirit will come" (not an exact translation but kind of close)
Power: "If a trial lasts for 7 whole hours, Sadako will kill all remaining survivors, because The Entity does not have the patience to wait 7 days for that..."

There should actually be an hidden Feature, that if the game lasts for 7 dayd All survivors die
More like for every 7 minutes that passes in a trial the survivors randomly get inflicted with the exposed status effect and any survivor that is within onryos terror radius will leave a heartbeat (same as when playing as legion you hit a survivor and are able to see others in your terror radius.) and will only last for 60 seconds. I say 7 minutes because in my own mind I’d like to think that every minute that passes in the entity’s realm is a whole day that passes in the real world. Just something to think about in between matches lol
And then the next killer they released had a day night cycle. So now you can literally take a week to get one gen done
in Sadako DX (2022) the video tape has been reduced to 24 hours

I’ve never been this excited for a DBD chapter before. This update is like a love letter to the Ringu franchise, and I love how it stays true to the original 💌 😍 👏

@@mothiskobeni To be fair, the Cenobite/Pinhead fits dbds aesthetic a lot better, but I'd agree that the license holders kinda sullied the excitement over that chapter with all the ntf shit. The Ring (or in this case, Ringu) initially didn't really seem like a franchise that would fit into the dbd universe very well despite being more well known that Hellraiser, but the way they were able to add Sadako into the game in a way that stays true to the original material is honestly so good. She's legitimately scary, and it's clear that the art team has put a lot of love and care into this chapter.

Despite all the things people say against her: I think the whole idea of her being in the best horror game ever fits to me perfectly. You see comments like "OMG THIS IS THE BEST", "BHVR PLS NERF KILLER" or "DUDE WE ALREADY HAVE FREDDY DEMOGORGON". You see, there is only certain amount of killers out there and everytime they have to think about the "how". I know that the hype is real everytime but you have to understand that not every killer will be a super well-known high tier favorite killer, and therefore he has to be powerful. No. The variety is important and we will, in fact, get a much more hype chapter at the anniversary.

(Except the part about dbd being the best horror game ever, which is just false) the collabs that they're doing is to get people from certain communities to start playing the game and maybe play as or against your favorite movie character, and even though the abilities are somewhat similar to what we have in the game now, new players won't be looking out for that and will just have fun with what they came for

Probably not possible to guarantee something like that, with the sheer number of people playing as or against her we will see interactions and scenarios never tested for.

So, just be aware, the characters do tend to wander a bit. Uh, they're left in some kind of free roaming mode at night. Uh... Something about their servos locking up if they get turned off for too long. Uh, they used to be allowed to walk around during the day too. But then there was The Bite of '87. Yeah. I-It's amazing that the human body can live without the frontal lobe, you know?
Uh, now concerning your safety, the only real risk to you as a night watchman here, if any, is the fact that these characters, uh, if they happen to see you after hours probably won't recognize you as a person. They'll pr- they'll most likely see you as a metal endoskeleton without its costume on. Now since that's against the rules here at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, they'll probably try to...forcefully stuff you inside a Freddy Fazbear suit. Um, now, that wouldn't be so bad if the suits themselves weren't filled with crossbeams, wires, and animatronic devices, especially around the facial area. So, you could imagine how having your head forcefully pressed inside one of those could cause a bit of discomfort...and death. Uh, the only parts of you that would likely see the light of day again would be your eyeballs and teeth when they pop out the front of the mask, heh.
Y-Yeah, they don't tell you these things when you sign up. But hey, first day should be a breeze. I'll chat with you tomorrow. Uh, check those cameras, and remember to close the doors only if absolutely necessary. Gotta conserve power. Alright, good night."

I don't get spooked by many horror IPs anymore but there's something so inherently terrifying to me about Japanese horror. Girls with their hair in front of their faces looking all sinsiter and shit just trigger my fight or flight response; mostly the flight part of it.

This is the most impressive trailer. From the Cinematography down to the detail. Beautiful, absolute chefs kiss
I swear to fuck the amount of film accurate stuff with this character is wild. The fact that they got the missing fingernails detail down from her trying to climb out of the well was pretty faithful, they even got down the big crack down the side of the well just like in the film.

As much as I love these last few chapters, I am starting to lose my patience waiting for more maps, I feel like there's not much h variety, at least what I get.put into, these last few chapters were a goldmine for map design be we got like 1 new map and that was a year ago almost
Well we got 2 maps, the police station and the Artist map. But we also lost one map 😂...But I totally get you, I mostly play survivor so new maps would be highly welcomed. These over hyped killers are...well overhyped only at the beginning and then later no one plays them.

Chase music:Judges Death (as being stabbed in barber chair)
Hooked music: Opening Title (violin triplets last 30 sec.)
Mori scene: Sweeney Todd sharpens his bladed from behind killer, grabbing survivor by the collar bringing them up to their knees, grabbing their head with one arm, slitting their throat with the other from behind (as from Sweeney and Antony performing Johanna from movie (old man in the barber chair))
Alternative Mori scene: Sweeney Todd parades slowly in front of the survivors, flicking his blades open and shining them in the light above his head as survivors sit upright on their knees, Todd swiftly turning and slicing survivors throat (as from Sweeney and Antony performing Johanna from movie (final kill in the barber chair during performance))
Opening cut scene: creators discretion
Chests: occasionally have Senor Perelli appear(jump scare) out of chests for his purse of blood points. (Opted for disregard)

I got a few ideas for possible killers and survivors
A monster survivor and human killer?
Like a killer MIB agent hunting a survivor alien or a pirate killer hunting a survivor siren
A killer from the Final Destination franchise who is just a regular person who unconsciously gives deadly bad luck to anyone they interact with for to long, so their weapon would be an invisible sphere of bad luck that they shoot out and causes the survivors organ damage
A killer who is a Hawaiian girl, who reluctantly has to make sacrifices to her god and she can control magma and the survivor can be a California tourist/surfer
A dexter/ succubus style killer who is a pretty woman who likes kids and will kill anyone who tries to hurt them by luring them in with her beauty then sucking out their soul and killing them
