Now I'm pretty sure this effect got used on Petrucci's clean guitar parts on Images And Words! Reminds me of it 100% and if this is Behringer/Klark Teknik not only reminding me of it, but making me believe it's the exact same effect, I've gotta get one! :D :O

You probably don't like Analog mixing consoles since "every single one" of their channels are mono..smh

Is it even legal to test these presets non-chronologically?
Leon is on that thin ice lately

Either my ears got used to the sound of klark teknik or stereo makes a big difference, but I do approve this sound. It's just way more noticeable and lush. Don't know if I approve it in practical sense, it's still not a practical unit, but the sound is just fine and its price is one second hand pedal after all or cheaper full price pedal.
Thanks for this idea, I was wondering why detune in one line and reverb in the other is a thing people do, but now I'm gonna try this on MPX. I also see that you got those mini rack Boss things! Looking forward to seeing them.

Stereo DOES make a massive difference when it comes to chorus. There's no limit to what you can do with a stereo signal. Chorus/detune and reverb separated in parallel helps to keep the dry signal from being over processed but it's the same principle with any two wet effects. The issue here is limiting your effects to one channel, personally I prefer stereo chorus AND stereo reverb, they just need to be dialed in right so you don't lose articulation into a huge modulated cloud.
Racks incorporating a line mixer are best posed to route and process wet vs dry for very big sounding guitar, just like they did in the 80s. My favorite is the landau sound splitting the stereo chorus and detuning 1 side, sending both into stereo delay and then routing a reverb. Took a long time to learn and experiment to get it right, but the result, for me, was well worth it. Happy experimenting (1 year later!).

Sounds a bit spiky the upper mids to me Leon? Admittedy, slghtly better with the Lexicon reverb, but not that beautiful lush round sound I associate with the original. $149 stays in my pocket, and really appreciate your video post effort.

It may possibly be the Axe fx as base tone. I hear the same digital harshness around 2.5-3.5hz in some of his other videos.

Lush! With gain on it almost has a through-zero flanger quality about it
