I have to say, at several points I was like: no way this will end up looking like a dog. But the more you continued on by adding details like the ears and such, it ended up really cool.

If you want to “get out from comfortzone” you can make like the globe of earth and there will be no nuts where the ground is. And yes it will be hollow but you can make any other thing that you want like this.

It’s amazing
He uses positive reinforcement, he associates items or places with rewards so that she is comfortable. You saw when Alec put the frame wire on her head he then rewarded her. Teaching her to be comfortable and associate well with what he is doing. Hope that helps:)
He made a video about how he desensitized her to the workshop so that she wouldn't be stressed. Maybe that helps you out.
As well behaved as she is he did not use just treats i suspect. Most likely he used a combination of positive re enforcement with treats and mild to moderate negative reinforcement.
People often get all bent out of shape you should never use negative reinforcement with dogs! A tap on the butt from the end of their leash is all that is needed along with a good quality "choke" collar used correctly. A choke collar is less about choking and more about signalling. The sound the tug etc a little tug right a little tug left or back forward up or down.
Using just treats with a dog causes the dog to only listen when they get a treat treat only training gets undone just as fast as it gets done. You don't want your dog to stop listening when their safety is at risk. His pooch is in a somewhat dangerous environment when he puts her in a down stay she needs to remain in down stay with out expectation of a treat.
My dog a rodesian ridge back was awesome and extremely well trained. I used no treats and positive and negative reinforcement with him. He hated having me take his choke collar off after a walk because he knew that was it for the day. I rarely had to ever tap him with the end of the leash (i use a really wide leash). The single time he took off running to the road i had to say stop exactly 1 time. He listened instantly he stopped and sat and waited. No punishment no negative reinforcement needed. He also received no positive ither.
I've been waiting for this video for a while. Back to discussing materials, tools, craft and creativity. And beautiful puppy head!!!!!

Your videography is so much nicer in these videos than in the later US ones. It's back to a more stable format with less motion where we can really focus on the detail of what you are doing. I realise this is probably because you don't have a camera operator, but please don't change back. This is so much more pleasing to watch. The sculpture is beautiful.
