Rating The Vans Sk8 Hi Pros
These are some of my favorite shoes to skate in!
The board feel is really nice and they look cool as well. My only gripe is that they don’t last that long. Since I skate a lot, these will only last me about a month or two. I hate having to buy them so often.
For the price ($70) they’re really good shoes overall! Great for beginners or advanced skaters alike!

@Chillin & Vibin But not all nike sb, with vans its all the old skools or the slip ons, with nike you have janoskis, shanes, dunks, jordans, ishods, force 58s. Im more of an adidas adv guy my self though, nike can be too narrow from time to time. I really enjoyed the ishods though.

What about half cabs, they are pretty durable good ankle support and have amazing board feel once you break them in, but still having Aton of support.

You should try new balance numeric 306. I've been using them and they seem to be almost the perfect skate shoe

I can't wear the Skate versions of Vans. The huge high heel insoles push my foot out the back. I've had Slip-Ons and Sk8 Hi but had to change to flat insoles on both. My feet fit nice in them but now they have even less cushion than a normal pair of Vans.

You could get the none skate version sk8-hi and replace the glued in insole with a different outsole. The suede is a bit less durable than the skate version and it has no duracap. The non skate version can cost around 35-40$ if on sale

What are the differences between “vans sk8 hi” and “sk8 hi pro”?

They are almost the same thing except the pros were made for skating therefore they are more durable. They have more durable laces, thicker rubber outsole, etc. The Vans skate hi are just basically high top Vans.

Pros have a different insole duracap toe more suede and a thicker canvas material I’m assuming you have the regular sk8 hi

Regular ski high have the red and white logo, the others like tapered and cricket will have a black n white logo those just have a slightly different design you can check the vans website to compare
