- If you are new to the channel, welcome! In today’s vlog I ride the MRT-3 (Metro Transit Line) Rail System from Guadalupe Viejo Barangay (Neighborhood) To North Avenue for only 24 Pesos! After that I try on some clothes and epically fail to find small enough shirts, then I try Manam Filipino For the First time and it was a 10/10!
Did you like the vlog?! If so, I’d like to suggest that you to smash that subscribe button and notifications bell because it will allow me to stay in touch with you on a daily basis!

Love your videos❤️
You're handsome :), enjoy our country...
Exiting North Edsa no need to use the stairs/footbridge to go to SM, there’s an entrance door there to Trinoma mall, exit the mall there’s a bridge connecting it to SM. Easy.
Like your vlog showing all what is expected to see in the Phil. Very informative.
Thanks! 😃
Mrt d only best transpo so we can get to our work fast &on time..moved to Valenzuela for5 yrs b4 left metro manila in 2017..&dats my exact route daily hehe..saw Fitness 1st,my gym..weekend worrior💪
There is another route from MRT3 to Trinoma Mall then to SM North that will not get you wet that much.
Nice videos brother
Ty 😃
Next time, better way to SM North from MRT you should get inside landmark then walk to the covered bridge connecting trinoma to sm north.
Try coming back in metro manila in the Philippines around the year 2029 when other rail systems got completed such as METRO MANILA SUBWAY(underground mrt in metro manila equipped with full height platform screen doors), NORTH-SOUTH COMMUTER RAIL(connects between Laguna, Philippines to New Clark City, Philippines equipped with half-height platform screen doors), and MRT-7
Glad you're slowly getting the hang of it getting around there.
The way to not get wet,is you should go inside trinoma and use the shortest footbridge to SM north on the other side of the train exit.
Very Nice
There’s a covered walk from Edsa North MRT Trinoma to SM North😊.
Very good your vlog brother ❤👍
LRT-2 is so much nicer, bigger, and more modern
Tip to the wise. If you're looking for tight clothes or slim fit types pf apparel, try going to Penshoppe, Uni Quo, Bench, Zara and Mossimo. Another thing is if there is no word SLIM FIT or MUSCLE FIT written on the tag if means even their small is big. All you have to do is ask the personnel in those stores for where are your slim fit clothes. Muscle fit and slim fit are the same incase you get baffled from looking for clothes.
Hope you try also LRT 1 and 2.
The MRT is a must. It's efficient. The issue I have with it is that no one knows when it will arrive and depart. It's just, wait unit ... ? That said, better than Taxis.
FYI: I would take it to Cartimar in Pasay. They've got the best knock-off Nikes there, cheapest price. From what I can tell, there is no difference between the actual Nikes and knockoffs.
Be careful in some area in manila if you're using Iphone with your personal card and credit card on it for vlogging. Its very tempting to a cellphone snatcher.Use a gopro instead
Thanks for the heads up
Good you finally got out of BGC, looked a bit shell-shocked but that's expected. Keep exploring our country 7k islands to go. Great vid.
You should have went into trinoma mall. There's a way inside and bridge connecting to SM North. Just ask the guards for directions.
I thought you only need to wear masks in the hospitals and transport. But you see heaps of people still wearing them in the shopping centre. Thanks for sharing mate. I am due to be there on 18th November.
Well the Philippine govt give a filipino a free will if they want to use facemask or not in outdoor or malls or office work but except to hospitals and transport place i think.
@@litenut1182 in Australia as soon as you are not required you don't see a mask around
Try the lrt 1
Nice video! New subscriber here
love the content Justin, thank you :-) Brings back lots of memories, makes me want to go back home and spend Christmas there in the Philippines.
Are the prices for the cookies 45 Peso is the actual price as advertised?
I would assume so
That train ride is so freaking cheap! Here in L.A California 's flat rate is $16.50 one way!!
How long you there ?
Stay Safe Justin. When you get the Chance try MRT 2.. Its from Recto to Antipolo
LRT 2*
I'am glad you've been in the Biggest Mall in the Philippines, many foreign tourist knew that Mall of Asia is the Biggest Mall in the Philippines, but the truth is this SM North Edsa Mall in Quezon City is the Biggest mall in the Philippines. You can really really shop till you drop to this beautiful very huge huge mall.
😃
Umbrella is a must. In the US rain is often just a drizzle to a real rain (pour), most just a drizzle (like in rainy states). In the PH, drizzles are rare but pours are more common. So you def need rain gear
Great that you're also showing what most of Manila looks like and how the common Pinoys live out their daily lives for the benefit of your foreign followers.
Btw, i think you should use an N95 mask when in EDSA to protect your lungs from all the fumes. And always bring a small foldable umbrella on such trips, esp during the wet season. A cap would also be good to wear. 😷☂🧢
😃❤️
All fumes? Fyi Air Quality in Metro Manila is more better than Air Quality in Bangkok, Hong Kong or China.
@@litenut1182 Lol, i didn't say air quality here is worse. I simply meant it's better to have some protection than none.
Peace.
In the Philippines, raindrops are a bit bigger so umbrella is really a must. Unlike when it rains here in California, a hat or jacket will do.
Yoo what you use to film this i got in trouble for filming in the mrt!! Also great vlog❤ much loves watching from guam
iPhone 📱
@@itsJustinSpencer 😂 i saw later on in the video when you was trying on the clothes
Also try LRT 2
Kansi is the best in manam and also the ube shake
You should buy a folding umbrella that you can just put in your pocket or your jacket. It's nice to ride Mrt if it's not busy hours or else you going to be squeezed 🤣🤣🤣 take it easy and enjoy your day as always 😊
I shared this too in another vlogger's channel before...
Crime Index Ranking 2021:

Indonesia 46.23
Vietnam 46.09
Philippines 42.16
Thailand 39.38
Singapore 32.98
Brunei 28.03

Crime here is a lot more concentrated in Metro Manila though. So it gets safer as you travel outside of MM.
Honestly I miss the RAIN and the STORM in the Philippines. I love it when it rains there hehehe
❤️ MANAM 😋😋😋🍻🍻🍻❤️🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Waiter at Manam : "Take me home Justin!" Lol! You didn't include a review on the Adobo. I'm sure you found it very salty. I did (and I'm Filipino) when I ordered that there. I told the waiter to replace it as it may have been doused with salt but when the new one came, it too was still very salty.
🤣
At least in manila MRT & LRT, you will not find crazy dudes who will push you onto the tracks and pooping on the stations like what we have here in New York City 😅
Yikes
Hi Justin....good to see you roaming around different part of Metro Manila especially taking the MRT. It’s nice that they even let you film in the MRT which I never understand why you can’t. Good way of showing to foreigners and also promoting LRT and MRT Both are reliable and cheap to get around lots of places. Before pandemic I hated snd didn’t like taking it because they never control the crowds of people. People pushing and rushing to get in the trains. They packed it like sardines! Now it’s so much better due to covid restrictions. Nice to see there’s discipline in people. I just hope they keep it this way. In the future you should take the LRT and PNR. Let’s hope that they will let you film it.
Btw I like that black shirt on you. Wasn’t sure if you like Filipino dishes 😂 Take care Justin 😘🇵🇭

Yo Justin! Thanks for showing the other side of Manila that isn't necessarily as glitzy as BGC and Makati. Broken sidewalks, spaghetti wires hanging all over the place, and busted concrete pavements and sidewalks, etc. Somethings just never change. But at the the same time, I did notice some improvement in the MRT system. Wish all of our cities look like BGC or Makati, or at least come half as close. That would be progress for sure.
Your welcome Roman and thank you for your thoughts, I appreciate you 🤙🏼
The sidewalks & foot bridges around Metro Manila are better now and well equipped, those are included to the infra program of Philippine govt "BUILD, BUILD, BUIlD."
Just be careful of pickpocketers.
