@@Suejanny the layout reminds me of a very old & cheap college dorm apartment, but converted into a hotel of sorts. This was incredibly tiny though lol and the courtyard should have been open air. It should have been at least a few times bigger, space for a desk, fridge/kitchenette area, a wardrobe, with windows both facing out to the street and out to the courtyard. Courtyard would have had shared tables and some plants/garden, cafeteria somewhere on that floor. Mine had a gym as well. Oh and the hallways outside the rooms should've been wide enough to have chairs and personal plants. Somewhat similar to prisons I guess. But no, prisons in the Philippines are much much worse and you do not get your own space nor a bed.

Made me put my phone down and reflect on my own life and how far ive come since being an addict and how much god..the universe has blessed me and my children. And so tonight I gave thanks to god and told him I loved him aswell and thank you Spanian for the reminder of how truly blessed we are. Mean vids brotha! keep it up. Stay blessed always xxx

I want to say it's easy if you're there just for a few days. Try living there for 20+ years. It's simply not possible to feed that many hands. And, as mentioned in a comment above, it probably all goes to the gangs who house and feed them. Most dress that way and bring their dirty kid exactly for people like you. Giving is not a bad thing of course, but there's an entire seedy side to the beggar thing here.
