The real magic in this one comes when it mixes with cigarette smoke and liquor. I wear this when I’m singing in lounges and when paired with a tux and the smell of 1000 old cigarettes, it’s perfect. It’s what Sauvage will smell like in 50 years.

probably the best Creed IMO. Although I have older decants that smell like heaven. Sweet and rich in lavender, I have newer decants that are just spicy and smell bad tbh. Nothing like the smooth sweet older batches. Wondering if this is a matter of reformulation or just maturation.
I love and highly respect this scent, been on the verge of getting it... not sure if I can pull it off and in the end I have Viking which suits me better. I do really love the smell of it, there's something quite mystifying about it!
Agreed. There are scents that smell bad and there are scents that smell nice but aren't for you. It's good to distinguish between the 2. BR540 smells nice to my nose but I have no desire to ever own or wear it.

No point hauling bottles outside in the baltic winter time , we'll be hearing your teeth rattle like a momtale bottle 😂 Great review , i liked this quite abit but i have a handful of fragrances that are im the same genre so it would have been redundant for me. Like my amouage sunshine man. Proformance on me was better 10-12 hours but the projection was soft. Half an arms lenght for most of that.
paid 180 for this bottle. A true older school gentlemen scent. Chaos you well be surprise from how many positive female comments I got. nothing I would put on test strip for feedback but in the air! masculine, which girls are drawn to
Yes I wore this to work the other day, and I got positive attention. No girls said I smelled good, but you can tell they reacted to the masculinity of it. I also over did it..my mistake. But the sillage, it seems they were intrigued by its masculine uniqueness.
Hey guys I have a question. I went to my local Perfumery and saw BdP for a great price. But there were 2 diff boxes. A shorter one with the classic creed box and velvety center logo that came in 120mL and another that the box was taller and more expensive without the velvety logo that came in 100mL presentation. Please help. I tried the 120mL one and lovvvveeeddd it. But is there a difference

Excellent fragrance classy and one that you'll only ever need 50ml unless there's a great deal going on. Too classy for regular use and it's strength means one spray.
Viking is by far my least favorite Creed fragrance followed by BDP. I would probably be considered a mid-40ish 'mature gentleman' but for me even Bois Du Portugal smells a little....'old'. It's certainly not the one I reach for often, if ever. But props to that rooster man!
