Gehenna, defined by Strong’s Concordance as “a valley west and south of Jerusalem, also a symbolic name for the final place of punishment of the ungodly.” This concept of a “final place” for the ungodly and evil naturally becomes, for most people, tantamount to hell.
Its a sick pedal. Ive been using it for a couple of days as a preamp mainly and its a great pedal. Note if you do use it as a preamp pedal crank the treble and presence and omg the pedal comes to life. The tone shaping on this pedal is amazing and you can get just about any metal tone you want. Crazy good and Daniel at Lichtlaerm is a super awesome dude (thanks for your help Daniel)
Thanks for the suggestion! I've actually been really surprised lately by the amount of comments asking me to show how to play riffs, so that's something I will do here soon!
I got one about a month ago and I must say...it is worth every penny. Some of the most punishingly heavy but well refined tones I have gotten out of it. It's the most versatile pedal as far as tone sculpting goes. And it doesn't not color the tones to the point of absurdity like many pedals do unless you want it to. Great as a preamp, too, but yeah...for my downtuned purposes, it crushes. For my purposes, best pedal I own. Both it and The Dirty Tree have given me options I really love, both rather differently, of course.
Sic mate, Jackson warrior, 1996 I could not buy the warrior because it was deleted from there range. So I found a custom shop and to this day it still sounds great. No tremolo, fixed bridge, emg 81 in the rear only. Can send a picture to you. Where do I send it?
So when you set gain 1 does the pedal store that setting then when you go to gain 2 it stores that setting so you can go back and forth and have a mild gain and a heavy gain? Great video and I am definitely interested in this pedal because of this video. What's really interesting is that it sounds great through the front or a power section/fx loop which is the way I would prefer to use it👍
Seeing you butchering the names was hilarious. And yes people, Daniel from Lichtlaerm is in a BM band, he makes high gain stuff, no cleans here just beautiful gain 🥰
Oh wow, I can't believe I just hear someone say Gehenna, with a hard G, its a soft G, pronounced 'juh·heh·nuh' Have you never heard of one of the original Black Metal gods from Norway called "Gehenna" before!?! Go back to school dude. ha ha
More ENGL and Asehattr goodness here ua-cam.com/video/dX3Sde75Sso/v-deo.html&ab_channel=TaylorDanley

Sick intro riffs, reminds me of Grand Belial's Key.
Would love if you did a tutorial/playthrough of that.
I'm going to add these to my board I usually use mesa throttle box but I need more.

If there was a metal song for diablo, it would be that intro

That's what we're here for! If your tone is not like a rusty razorblade something's wrong about it :D
@@danielringl8501 I've been eyeballing that Gehenna for way too long :)
@@_vez go for it! They're 150€ till the end of the week :)
I'm glad you enjoyed it. I think I got ritual right at least lol
@@TaylorDanley There wasn't much to say wrong there Taylor 💀
can u demo the iconic el34 into a kick ass 412
Will this adapter suit for Gehenna: Truetone 1 Spot 9V/DC ?
Yikes! Sounds killer
Do you think the gehenna sounds more like engl or mesa ?!
Good question. Probably the best of both honestly. Massive low end like a Mesa, but also has some very nice harmonic mid range like an Engl.
Bro, your content is MINT
Glad you think so!
I heard "SHUT UP TO MY PATREONS"
😂
Is there any cheap chinese pedal to play death metal?
Gehenna is a perfect pedal Triton lab Caravan is Gehenna on steroids
Oh wait firsttt baby
