isn't the Eurofighter obselete? You need more American weapons. Can't go wrong. The weapons built elsewhere are unproven and untrustworthy.
m3dicated Really it’s amateur of opinion , look at it this for an example the American Air Force is upgrading it’s F-16s and F-15s and keep in mind that this is only being done to newer aircraft not all of them with the same Radar ( AN/APG-81 AESA Radar System ) that is on the F-35s , it would be a solid argument to say that those aircraft are obsolete also but however they are still useful given the low number of flight hours that some of them have given this you’re not going to throw away a perfectly good aircraft for no reason you want to utilize it first ....

Wonderful to see the historic "DamBusters" unit with the latest fighter bombers. This squadron made so many unique missions they're the template for Special Operations. Cheers!

Glad to of made it to Marham just in time to see them fly over and break to land. Then a month on, to see Butch fly over for his first UK flight to CGY. Very impressive.

To all the nay sayers who only have flown in a 737 and no hours in fast jets...sy its crap...ask the pilots...they all love it....shows how well trained and skilled the pilots are...all landings exactly same....perfect...amazing short t\o even in normal config,stovl is even more amazing.....but ugly the doors etc but if it works....sorted.

It always amazes me that any country would spend this kind of money. I know they are state of the art, but do you know how much these fighter planes cost?
$80 Million Something.
A lot less than we pay for immigrants, lazy scroungers, foreign aid to countries with armies and in the space race. Fir our defence, they are worth every penny.
Their the best bargain in the world. Just like the F-16, nothing is comparable. But these aircraft are specifically designed to evolve. In twenty years their capabilities will be unimaginable.
Quick blast round the airfield then straight back into the hanger for maintenance

No different from the eurofighter then it's made to be aerodynamically unstable in flight to make it more manoeuvrable at supersonic speeds and can't be flown without computerised flight controls.
"End of" as in " End of story" not "End off" Most modern airplanes have computers that control their flight, it's nothing new. How are you going to get the virus onto the aircraft? Don't you thing they will have thought of that and put in some form of defence to counter it?

Stephen Noble True. Quite unfortunate that it’s no emerging that Chips and circuit boards for these are being made by the Chinese. It’s not like they would embed any form of technology that could be activated to render the F-35 useless or less effective is it.
I’m glad nothing from the awesome Typhoons have a ‘made in China’ question mark over them
