    Correct, once fully operational they will be using the short rolling landing technique when returning to the carrier with unspent ammo and fuel.

    I assume they're eventually going to be using short, rolling landings? I think they saved lots of fuel and munitions with that technique with the harriers. If memory serves correct, which is not always the case.

      Harrier never did SRVL. The F-35 will use SRVL in most cases, and only use vertical in extreme weather.
