So the kitchen is downstairs and the dinning room is upstairs . The gym space is a passage way . Laundry room size of a closet . 26 million that's 3.25 million per room and I don't get so much as a swimming pool. There was another property in Greenwich Village New York valued at 21 million that had a 2 car garage and a swimming pool it's on Architectural Digest channel
Plus it's in NYC. A city that I used to live in and love but has become like a middle aged spouse and let it self go in many ways. Not likely to bounce back soon without some growing pains. I'm sure this will sell but I wouldn't live in that city or state at this time in history.
If the kitchen and the dining room were in the 2nd fl, it would make more sense. The living room should be where the kitchen is so it connects with the backyard, making the whole space more open. The house is beautiful anyway.
It is a lovely house, but as comments state, it is very expensive for what you get. Normally at that price you would expect more "bespoke" finishes I think, more room maybe, and I don't know, somehow if they had built in a garage? Definitely have seen other homes with the same price tag with a LOT more to offer!
A built in garage? HAHA!!! A lot of these town house homes were built BEFORE CARS WERE MADE. If you were paying attention to the beginning (it was a brief shot) you'll see of these houses are built directly next to each other. Where would a garage go?
sold for 7.3m 5 years ago. Not sure how much was spent on renovation but I'm guessing this will still be a profitable sale at 14m. Best of luck to the seller.
She did say that if she was to buy that townhouse, she would convert one of the spare bedrooms into another dressing room (which I'm guessing is what they call a closet in the UK).
Very nice and a lift and sure parking was overlooked perhaps. I liked the set up but would have put the office in the cellar and gym where the office was staged much more open for air circulation and less awkward going to it with a client if you are working from home. I love the integrated kitchen and availability of that lift. All the bedrooms are an equal double size as well. Well done Summer :) and company :)
Thanks for showing a Lovely NYC townhouse!used to walk by some when i was in college there but never know what they looked like! (though i wish presenter could have slowed down her pace a lil as it felt a bir rushed!)
I was so excited when I saw the front gate as it was so spectacular and gorgeous. But, was very disappointed with the interior. Does everyone have to have the gaudy modern furniture in NYC?
Honing the marble makes it a matt finish, basically not shiny. Personally I thought the video was rushed. Sometimes the finer details make the difference. I suppose the price is based on the location. Living room will be better in the kitchen and the kitchen up to the next level.
Not a fan of the kitchen. Who wants to carry everything upstairs after cooking? Imagine you have a dinner party for 15 people, the food will be cold before you carried everything up.
It is good to look at channels like this. Information gathered helps the viewer to make decisions about what they DON'T want or bits & pieces the viewer MAY want. Overall, houses like these are "not my cup of tea." They are to big!
What are the costs of ongoing rates, fees, levies & power per quarter? I bet those costs could feed a small village for a year I bet & that’s the problem
Reminder to folks not from NYC, you're not paying for the property, you're paying for the zip code. You're paying for the location. The home itself would be about
I like the interior choices, but the finishing quality is questionable. Also, no privacy, no security, no good flow in the layout. Given the location, this would be worth 9-12m
The location is what makes it so expensive, tree lined West Village, probably cobble stoned street. West Village has gone as insane as Tribeca and Chelsea. When I lived in Chelsea, I had a large studio with classic cage elevator, for 1600 a month, 10 years ago. That same building has a similar studio, not even as large as mine for 2800. These 3 neighborhoods especially have gone through the roof with prices 😢
@@kevmagill5163 I can see this type of property being simply an investment opportunity to park wealth. Those who can afford to buy a $26m property wouldn't want to live in such a location as a primary residence, but perhaps a visiting residence. For the few wealthy who live and work in the city and can not relocate outside the city due to commitments, perhaps they may consider these. I'm just speculating, of course.
To be honest for 26 milion I was expecting a indoor pool and sana, a theather room, maybe a bigger gym also a spa, excellent presentation considering what you had to deal with, but I rather for 26 million buy me a penthouse overlooking Central Park just my humble opinion
We are talking about NYC plus you're not just paying for the house you're also paying for the location and look at some of the people who lives on the same street 😅. It's always about the location especially in NYC and it's so easy to get from point A to point B but I'm sure the people in this location have personal drivers. 😅😊
Ideal space for a single person or childless couple, but not having a proper walk-in closet in the primary is a deal breaker for me. Well, that and the price. lol!
I am not a New Yorker, but in the video in the back porch I can see the neighbors window ac unit and they can obviously see the owner on their backporch. Doesn't seem like much privacy. Is this the norm for New York?

Nope, it’s not an end unit building, hard pass. Pretty but no.
That house was $21M in 2019, so its probably worth $40M now lol

No
Stunning town house but not worth $26 million. It's very overpriced.
You’ve never been to the West Village I take it
How much would you say it’s worth then?
.... and you sell real estate in 'which' country exactly... Guatemala?
This is about right for that area..

@@MeVan-mo8jk maybe you can buy it and re jig the rooms to your liking 😂
Well now that you’ve suggested they’ll just change everything for a mere million. What’s wrong with you all?!
Proper townhouses have the dining room in the floor above the kitchen
Yea 26M for 4 bdrms is a lot to me
The kitchen normally extends out into the patio/garden for entertaining purposes. The positioning is correct in my eyes.
A pergola over the outdoor seating area would be a plus.
Stunning property. I would put the master suite on the top floor.

Amazing house - but I don't like how you walk in the front door and (pretty much) into the kitchen. There should be some separation or something.
I was just about to buy it until you mentioned that. 😳

This has a finished basement vibe..not a 26 million townhouse. Even for NYC.
Beautiful! Very spacious for New York.
Stunning property💜
Stunning property.
Just incredible. ❤
See how they just breeze by the walk-in closet in the primary bedroom? That means it's outrageously small for the size and price of the house.
She did say that if she was to buy that townhouse, she would convert one of the spare bedrooms into another dressing room (which I'm guessing is what they call a closet in the UK).
It gives a vintage vibe

Absolutely stunning. One would be so lucky!

This is beautiful. The kitchen is beautiful, but it’s not worth 26 million.
More NYC townhouses, please

Is there a dumb waiter? How does the food get from the garden level to the dining room?
There’s an elevator 🤷🏻♂️

Parking? It’s New York City…no one (smart) has a car lol
Where do you put your shoes, jackets, bags etc. as soon as you enter the property. A closet is needed.
Agreed ! Across the one wall and hidden with doors.
"North facing garden, so it gets loads of light"......NYC folks are funny.and "Gorgeous".

$26 Million for an interior that looks like a corporate 4-Star Hilton in Ohio. What are we doing?
Excellent
I thought the inside was going to be more original

Good looking abode!
« this property was redesigned two females » ?! You mean women 🤨
You don’t talk about parking for cars in your videos. An area that i believe should be addressed.

i dont think people realize you’re paying for location more than the house, not saying that isn’t stupid but that’s just the reality of it
