What a tearjerking movie! To have the family reunited once again and see that real love exists because of forgiveness
a real feel good movie with a lot of twists and turns in the plot. some families take a while to sort things out. this one did but many do not. good acting and a believable plot

Nothing is beyond forgiveness. Matter of fact God says we must or we won't be forgiven our shortcomings.
I miss 80'sl films. They had great backstories. They were just the best. Felt the same way about my High School which is why I dropped off the radar & never looked back.

I'm glad that he did movies like this and they weren't always just brainless Blockbusters like Roadhouse or dirty dancing. He took the time to actually make some meaningful films that flew under the radar. I saw this on video some years ago and I actually thought it was pretty good.

It's a little less weird then the commentor I saw recently whose neighborhood was used as a scene in SILENCE OF THE LAMBS. The people in the theater had no idea their little town was going to appear in the film as the home of buffalo bill a serial killer. They walked out of the movie house quite upset.

wow! patrick i n a film i haven't seen,and the message i found in this profound,there are people in my family i have never tried to reconcile with,and if it was this hard when i feel wronged,i wouldn't.i was great to see him in action,and b efore he hit the big time,i really liked this film.

Idk seem the main character had a drug problem and his family failed him. The sister lied and the father beat him almost killing him so the son defended himself. His family was wrong on how they treated him.
I saw this movie before. Maybe I'll watch it again as I love Patrick Swayze! So he has to leave home over some really stupid misunderstanding. I remember what happened. His family was dysfunctional, you think? That sister was a real work of art wasn't she? I can't stand any of the 3 family members - they did him wrong.
