I Am So Sorry to hear this, and grateful that you heard my message, My Daughter Struggled with Addiction for many years and I got the call in the middle of the night that she was gone. Needless to say mu wife and I are devastated, but through it ll we could look each other in the eye and say we did everything we could. Ive learned that we cannot help someone who does not want to be helped. If you ever want to talk some more let me know! Knives have been my therapy for years. I am so very sorry about your brother. The way I see it they are free from theor troubles and I hope and pray looking down on us.
As I have mentioned thoughts are with you and yours my brother. So cool of them to send the gen 2 to ya. I knew when I got one that it not being a frame lock would bother me. Unfortunately it was the deal breaker for me personally. The folder itself would be absolute fire in a frame lock. Well I can only hope that they will see it the same way one day. Glad some knife therapy is happening

Thank you for the Kind words, Its appreciated.. I have several SEAL SOG XR's and I looked for you .. its difficult to tell but the Scales are similar thickness wise, but I cant really see the Liners on the XR.. the Liners on the Gen 2 are pretty thin
Hey Bud.. Truth? I have no idea, but logically speaking id say its probablu similar with minto differences so they can each say they have Patented systems.. I DO Believe that Halfbreed states ints their proprietary locking system.. I am unfamiliar with Diafire and will take a look myself.. Sorry I couldnt be of more help..
Question about this knife, does your thumb stud wiggle or rotate a bit? I just got mine and it wiggles/rattles/turns slightly . Just wondering if this is common with the knife. It seems to me that it shouldn’t
Hey bud how are you ? Thanks for watching! The Thumb Stud itself wiggles? No Way! That should not happen. typically thumb studs are either Pressed into the blade or Screwed into each other.. Have you tried to Unscrew it altogether? just to verify that that is the case and that its not broken? If it IS threaded into the other side id suggest sume Blue Thread Lock and some vise grips with paper towel on the jaws do not to scratch your knife.. let it sit for an hour and see if that fixes the problem.. otherwise you will have to send the knife back to Halfbreed where I am confident they will remedy the situation. I meant to say they Changed the scales to G-10!! that cut the Weight
Is this linq lock the same system from Diafire knives (DOTS USA) and would you know if they’re affiliated?
