same here, its just his line is meticulous its incredible like his microscopic movements that keep him on the track.
Very late to this comment but it’s all about throttle control I used to mess up a lot with the gt3 cars aswell it would just slip out of no where but now I have learnt not to mash the throttle always try to keep a steady throttle round corners so it don’t kick out unexpectedly and don’t just go from slight throttle in a corner to pedal to the metal slowly ease it back into full acceleration
@@aj24z42 I can confirm this. Gentle and smooth on the throttle. If you want to smash a pedal then smash the brake pedal and brake as hard and late as possible without skidding
I think this is because of using the soft tyre compound and a lot of downforce.
I tell you what.... My pedals got messed up, and my throttle and break was stuck around 80% only no matter how much I pushed them (software glitch). That was one hell of a lap, the GT3 cars just had so much control ! try setting max throttle to like 80 % for some time and you will immediately learn how to manage your throttle better and avoid the slippery slope

Pe Peroni I am not sure about the weather settings as it was a public server when I recorded this lap.
I belive he had a track temp of 21° but use (like me) 14° track temp to get the last bit out of the car

Are you running low aero? I can't understand how you are clocking 290 kph at 1:56 while my high aero setup is good for 270 at most.
Yeah he is running very low aero, probably around 3-4 in the rear. In my case with low aero and a mercedes amg gt3 i got to 287 kph in that straight but lower aero settings make the car unstable in very fast turns.

UNION44 thanks for the compliment! I Iowered my rear and front aero, ride height lower right to the limit just before its invalid. Just realised that many have asked for my setup will share it soon.

Depends on car setup, if your car has a stiffer suspension and lower ride height gets unsettle easily then you probably shouldn’t ride the curb

I don't know if you noticed like I did, but watching this I could see were you could easily shave another 2 maybe even 3 seconds if you were really stretching some of those corner exits and honestly theirs just a few mistakes I can honestly see you cleaning up fairly easily.
Have you thought about trying to lower it even more? 6:08's possibly?
And btw.. it's cool to see someone else figuring out that 3rd gear is your friend here, as well nice 5th gear pull through the high speed back section, it's so easy to lose speed there. Very Impressive.
Dick Steel yeah I managed to do 6:09, just didn’t upload. There were a few mistakes like you pointed out as I was really pushing it. Also it took me a few laps to find the ideal gear ratio for 3rd 5th.
I get the gears mostly right but I break much earlier than them, that’s where I lose time the most

I love how those GT3 cars drive like on rails. They have all the downforce, technology etc. and a lot of power - but not to MUCH power! So they stay easy to controle.
Many people think they cant drive fast times cause they often lose controle. Thats caused by insane HP numbers, to much weight and not enough downforce.
Better drive something thats easy to control, that brings u around the track in one piece.
In real life race drivers said that to learn race driving around the Nordschleife, u better start with low HP. Like a 200HP BMW is more then enough to shape of a ton of time of ur track time. And later u can go bigger.

@@MrHamster1982 i was doing 6.14 on stock setup, after i did some tweaks now have 6.10.4 at Tourist, but from your vid i see you have more speed, maybe due to better gearing or lower wing
@@ALEX20hoc most probably the gearing. Had another run with lesser mistake have yet to upload the video, was doing 6:09, this car can do 6:08 Of course also depends what type of ambient condition you driving in.
