In today’s volg we are up early to finally visit the iconic Hoover Dan and then the best place in Vegas for meal and cheap drink deal. The drinks just kept on flowing Dam, Cheap Drinks ( see what I did there 😀) ua-cam.com/video/t_PjOOCahDQ/v-deo.html
The Hoover Dam is a great half day out, very informative narration, thanx for sharing...Planet Hollywood venues great for food and drinks, great value 3 for 12USD. Fast tracking up and down the strip on the monorail always saves a lot of time. Looking forward to your next adventure....
@@ThemeParkBazza aww your one of my faves with rix I actually met him last Sept and was live on you tube . Hope I bump into you 2 one day would be buzzing . Back in May, hopefully my 2nd home . Well jel xx
Great vlog. Loved the tour of the dam dam. “Dont drop the phone” - with Max on that. I am thinking on investing in one of those holders that go on a lanyard round the neck for such occasions. Less stress.
Enjoyed the vlog brought back great memories of our trips. Great tip about taking lip balm I also suffered nose bleeds for some reason 🤷🏼♀️ and yeah the weather can be difficult to judge. Drinks looked really good looks like you both enjoyed 😋🍸🍸
What a sight the Hoover Dam is. Saw it on The Lodge Guys vlog, but great to see it again. Weird how you are in one state on one side and a different state and time zone on the other. I did something similar at the Four Corners, where four states meet and there is a plaque where you can put your foot and you are standing in all four states at the same time. Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah.
Fantastic vlog, brought back so many memories of our trips to Vegas and the Hoover Dam. The bridge you were on had just started construction when we last visited in 2006.
Hi. Been pricing up Las Vegas and this is fantastic advice. Having been looking at excursions viator offer some much better deals than Virgin or BA. Thank you for the vlogs.
Been a while since we were there, but love Las Vegas, the one place we’ve never done is the Dam lol, been near it and stuff but never seen it properly, maybe if we get to go again, thankyou Mr Bazza and Mrs Bazza, fantastic vlogs xx 😁
That Dam Dam tour still looks good. We stayed at Ballys Hotel a few years back. That's the Horseshoe Hotel now. Our last stay was at the Luxor in 2015 over Christmas. All good fun. Thank for taking us with you. Las Vegas always calls you back.
Hi Bazza and Mari 😂 Great to see the dam again, have been looking back at photos from 2002, can definitely see the water drop. We have photos and video from the dam and lake mead (on a paddle boat), and from above, we took a helicopter tour from vegas, over the hoover dam, landed at the bottom of the canyon for a champagne lunch and then flew back down the strip flying over our home for the week ‘The Stardust’. Bring back some nice memories, thanks Mike & Michele ❤
Love this vlog - brought back so many memories of our trip to the Hoover Dam in 2016. We recognised the Miracle Mile but didn’t recall it being that name when we were there.
I have to agree with you on driving across the Dam you'll see very little sat as low as you would be in a car. Much like driving over the 7-mile bride down the Keys. By the way have you tried that Portable Beaker yet, I can only buy 240 volt UK plug here at home. I'll have to buy one once we get to our place. Enjoy.
Enjoying your Vegas videos. My son and I went to a local pub in St Louis and our bill for two, including one alcohol drink was for nearly 100. Ocean One seems like the place to go!
I really need to go back to LV. We drove through (and stopped at) Hoover Dam when we got married in 2002. That bridge wasn't there then but don't remember much traffic, i guess it built up over the years though. Love dinner and the happy hour cocktails! x
Great video, Mr. and Mrs. Bazza! Brings back memories of my trip 21 years ago. I drove across the dam rather than walking it as it was 107F the day I was there. A shame that the observation area and the new bridge were not there at the time. Definitely a must-see when visiting Vegas! A bit of trivia, those are the original General Electric generators in the generator hall, still working after all these years! The water level is a LOT lower now too!
Cool fact,as you know I used to work for GE and never knew that. I do know the original GE morors still run the San Fransisco Cable car system ( 3 of them )
@@ThemeParkBazza And I didn't know that fact! Sadly, I lost a lot of the pictures I took of the dam because my camera was not recording properly. Oh, well.
So funny you are in Vegas when we have just watched the lodge guys drop you off at airport for Vegas last year when they stayed at yours, totally confused my brain ❤
we were there 2005 before the new relief road was built so we drove over the dam and the state line is in the middle of the dam so makes for a cool photo op. two minutes after i typed this you mentioned it in the vlog
@@ThemeParkBazza it was not to bad when we were there no real queue would have been a weekday in September as we were in vegas Monday to Thursday for the cheap room rates. we went back April 2007 and they had started work on the new bridge
Heck, now I'm thirsty! Just FYI: If you have Hyatt status you can match to MLife Gold -- free parking and NO (odious loathsome) resort fees. Rumor has it this is the last year of the partnership.
Baza, I really like those sunglasses. Were they expensive or did you manage to get them cheap in Vegas? I desperately need some and I was waiting to get some from Vegas when I was supposed to go back in 2020.

Dam, yet another bucket list place to visit! Never only 1 hour for cocktails!
Agreed
Visited the Hoover dam in 1989 nothing like it is now. No visitors centre but we did go across it on our way to Vegas was still an exceptional view.
My mum and Dad's first visit to Vegas was in 82. She she describes to me how the strip was just a two lane highway back then
Have a good sleep you guys, enjoy your time in Japan
Looking forward to your travels.
Thank you , lots of fun to come
That subway saved me more than once in 2019! 😂😂
Amazing views from the Dam and some great deals there guys
The Dam did not disappoint
Amazing vlog and the views were stunning. Great info too 👍🏽

Subways for tea...what a pair of romantics :) :)
I know, Dave. I think we may be having them tonight as well !!
What an amazing feat of engineering the Hoover Dam is. I’d love to see it one day.
It was one of our bucket list locations, Shirley, and it did not fail to deliver
Great vlog, the Hoover Dam looked amazing xx
It lived up to our expectations
