@@t-roy3717 As someone who is getting rid of their Skatetech, I definitely noticed a ton of response, but half the time not until after I'm already transferring weight. The bindings are completely numb and provide almost no feedback from what you're making the board do, and very little from the mountain. There's no strap positioning adjustments, and (for hangar 3.0), the toe straps connect almost in front of the footbed. Your boot has to be on the upper end of sizing for the binding to fit, and I didn't find the upper straps particularly comfortable. I just ordered some Katanas to replace my Mercuries.
Would you suggest the DOD's or the Katana's on a 2024 Capita Black Snowboard of Death? I ride mostly on the east coast where it gets icey late in the day, but also do trips out west in addiition to the alps for powder. I dont really ride in the park at all, just like to ride around the mountain medium to high speeds and carving. Been boarding for 10+ years. 5'10 170 Lbs.
@@AngrySnowboarder Is there another recommendation you would have that you think would be more suitable? There's so many options that I got lost in researching and wound up on those 2.
Bump up to the Cleaver from Rome instead it matches the board the best if you stick with Rome. If you go with something else I'd look at an Atlas Pro from Union, Ride C-10, or a Now Drive Pro.
Just ordered a pair, found a demo used 1-2 times for 260. Hiking/freeriding at Stevens pass and cruising groomers, side hits, occasional butters. Think this was a good purchase?
Can get a decent deal on these, Rome Vice, Now Drive or Ride C8s for my K2 Passport. Currently riding some late 2010 Targas 👴🏻So am sure any of them would be improvement… but if you had to pick one?
I have a 10.5 k2 boot, managed to snag a 23 model DOD L/XL on a good deal. Would this be okay? I know 10.5 is right in the middle of their size chart where you could size up or down.
Just an idea for future videos. I would love to also hear your opinion regarding the comparable gear in relation to the gear you are presenting. For example: Comparable bindings, Ride A-8 just a little bit more damp, Union Atlas just a little bit more stiff, Now Select Pro just a little bit less responsive.
Would this be good binding for me? I have a brand new 22/23 Rome stale crewzer I have. 160w wearing a size 11 boot, I’m also wondering what size to get ? Thanks to anyone who has any knowledge
Completely different camber profiles. Party Mod is flat to rocker which is more loose and surfy, Shadowban is camrocker which is more precision and powerful.
I’m regretting giving in and listening to friends when they said cartel x are the holy grails. So much more out there. Yes people, your friends don’t know shit too.

I brought these although I was tempted to buy union strata for my Capita Murcury 159. Looking forward to trying them in my new board.
I loved my dod’s before I graduated to the dampness and response of skate tech.
Do u actually notice difference with skate tech

Thanks for the video! How do they compare to the k2 bond? Is there a link to one of your k2 bond review?
Would these be a good match for the Ravine Select? Thanks for the review also.
Yes, definitely
would these work with the jones mountain twin? or there better options?
Solid choice.

DOD if those are your only two options.

Definitely.
Can’t decide between these or the union force for the gnu 4x4. All mountain, jumps, side hits, Little bit of park. Thoughts?
Either.
I have the 2024 nitro Marcus Klevland pro. Currently binding less. Looking at the dod. With the board being a 7/8 stiffness. Will these be the one ?

DOD would be closest to the Targas but with some solid strap upgrades.

Just make sure you shrink the heel cup down to the minimum setting and you'll be fine.

We have reviews for all of those bindings coming out. Stay Tuned
How do they fair against small arms fire?
Probably better than Clew.

Definitely a solid choice and you want the lg/xl
@@AngrySnowboarder thank you so much!
I’m ordering now ! I found a 20% off sale🎉
Just wish they came with no canting on the footbed. But overall it’s a solid binding.
You can get a 0 degree footbed off their website for like $30
I went the opposite direction and purchased the canted footbeds, as they are far less fatiguing - at least for me@@born2drum1
Been watching your vids a lot, and learning a lot.. Have the Rome Party Mod and like it, how would you compare that to the Ride shadowban?
Completely different camber profiles. Party Mod is flat to rocker which is more loose and surfy, Shadowban is camrocker which is more precision and powerful.
@@AngrySnowboarder Thanks!! I guess its the 'surfy' feel of the Party Mod im really enjoying, ill stick with it for now

Cartels are not terrible. Good workhorse binding. Yes with today's tech there is SOOOO much more out there #benetekbirdboi # benetekbirdgang
Cartel X is holy grail lol you’re just not good
