This project turned out really amazing, video doesn’t justify the actual beauty. i could stay all day watching this garden pond especially that the aquatic plants and flowers are in full bloom now. The last clip of the video seems a little bit dark because it rained for two days came back crystal clear the next day. The filter system is really effective in a way that i don’t need to set the pump to 4000 gph and most of the time the pump is just pushing 2000 gph . But still i can hardly see any algae. For all the people watching this video, i can only say that this project turned out spectacular than I have ever imagined. Good job Atlantis Water Gardens Team, thank you so much for your hard work
I love the intake Bay, much better than the skimmer fish don't get caught in it and the pond level can fluctuate without much problem. The skimmer on the other hand is very sensitive to water level changes!!! And they can freeze up in the winter and starve your pumps, but the intake Bay no problem!!!
Thanks for watching! If you're going to run through the winter, you'll want an aerator or bubbler to keep the water moving in the pond portion. Really depends on how cold it gets where you're at. The pump should always be totally submersed.
Great to see all your excitement building this pond, in take bay and all, I live in upstate NewYork and feel you guys regarding the monsoon rains this year, as usual an incredibly beautiful pond, stream and water falls, what a strikingly unique design, absolutely love it!
My pond is dug with clay, no liner. Maybe a 40x20 swim area and slope of 40x20 more shallow. I assume the intake goes in shallow water designing in your narrow entrance. Yes i have a good size pond and would love to rehab what i have to be cleaner. Thanks for your thoughts
Great project. Thanks for the vid. Other than scooping out the floating material, what kind of periodic maintenance does an intake bay require? Does some stuff sink and get drawn into the AquaBlox and have to be cleaned out?
No, you should never have to clean out the AquaBlox if it's installed correctly. There's a filter in the skimmer that would need to be cleaned, but other than that that's it.
Good morning Jaak and drew, bully and the rest of the crew.. Hope your all having an amazing day. Wow another absolutely amazing waterfalls and pond. I love the simplicity of this one and the plant pocket areas are amazing. Love seeing them fully landscaped at the ens. It just brings out the beauty if your job so much. I always say its not done tull the full landscaping is done as it always changes the appearance of a job. Fantastic work as always. Sorry i missed this video friday had a ruff week after being diagnosed with , lupus and bone cancer ontop of the rest of my health problems. They finally burst my bubble on oneday building an amazing pond like this myself. I might try so my kids will always have a pice of me and what i love. Anyways blessings to you all have an amazing week and ill see you friday like always
Love this pond. You guys are my favorite pond builders. I have a question. How is the intake bay plumbed? If I have an existing skimmer, which is my water source for the filter and waterfall, could I replace it with an intake bay? Where is the water pulling from?
What an amazing job the guy's did on this one! it's "incredible" I think the skimmer bay turned great too. Before you put the gravel on the bottom of the pond do you put underlayment fabric on top of the liner? Keep up the great work guys! :)
Wowwwwwww.... 😱😱😱😱 I love it, I love your every work, watching from Philippines, Jaak and team Lang sakalam(malakas) 💪💪 Hoping someday to have that pond in my backyard... You made an amazing job what a pond, that's my dream❤️❤️❤️
I’ve seen you folks use skimmers and intake bays. Is this just customer preference? Or is one better suited to some situations? Same question about the constructed wetland. Is it preference or required for certain conditions?
What size is this pond and stream? Its gorgeous, too bad whoever created mine didn't put a skimmer in for a 20ft stream, and a 10x8 pond. The maintenance is horrible, if I would have known i would have never put my fish in it.
@@AtlantisWaterGardens if you made a Wetland Filter for this pond, how many aqua blocks would you need and would you use the 2 centipedes or just one? Cheers

Beautiful pond. How deep is it?
Love it. Such a beautiful pond. How deep is it?
@@luudantu7211 it’s only 2 feet deep and the fish survived two winters now. I run the pump all year round with no problem at all.
Love this. Like that the water appears so dark. But clear.
Thanks, Caroline!
I love it when you guys go back and grab footage of the pond once it's settled down. Tranquility is right! Love it!

Heck yes! It looks amazing! I really love the way this one turned out. Y'all did an outstanding job! God bless
Loved the way the water came out from under the plant at the top of the waterfall! Beautiful artful work!

Watching from Canada. Love the intake bay idea. Thoughts on winter running this and how deep the pump should sit. Thanks abunch. Great pond!

The intake bay skimmer goes on the opposite side of the falls, you don't want it in shallow water as that is where the pump is housed.

Yes, you’d have to seam on a liner for the intake
@@AtlantisWaterGardens thank you for the answer. Does the plumbing attach to the liner? Is it basically a bottom drain?
Amazing!
Thanks!
I wonder how long does geomembran layer will last?
It has a 20 year warranty.
Gorgeous

We usually put the gravel right on the liner
So awesome. Love it. What is the depth of the pond and also how many tons of rock?
2’ deep and 8 tons

Always prefer intake bay and wetland if budget allows
What would stop koi from getting in the intake bay? Seems really shallow and they can jump out?
Hi. I had this pond for two years already but i never had a koi jump out from the pond
With the intake bay is there no need for bottom drains?
Ecosystem ponds don't use bottom drains, instead they use bottom aeration.

Hi Andrea, this is 10 X14 pond with 8' stream
Why do you use plastic liner rather than concrete layers??
Concrete doesn't hold up well here in the Northeast and is very difficult to work with.
did you use a bog filter?
not on this one.
Love it,
My kind of pond. Can a wetland work as well with a intake bay on this size pond?
Yes 👍

can you tell me the intake size for this pond? i have a 7,000 gallon pond and need to make a intake bay
About 12 Aquablox
