Great videos, so far. 1) When opened, are you putting additional stress on the hinge? 2) Before glueing, did you rough up/ sand the plastic?

I used aluminum specifically to keep it as light as possible. The hinge seems just fine with the small extra weight. I did try cleaning the surface but not sanding. The JB Weld epoxy seems to be holding well.
