Your 'day trips' enjoying a fire, trying out new gear, or cooking outdoors even if it's just for coffee have inspired me!
Awe this makes me SO HAPPY to hear. Thank you so much for all the support, I'm so stoked you enjoy my videos :)
The new stove looks sweet 👍 Very cool of 'em to set ya up like that. Lookin' forward to seeing the tent as well 👍 Here's to an awesome 2024 for you and Brandon my friend!
Relaxing outdoors is never dull.
Winnerwell makes a great stove. Thanks for showing us a useful afternoon in the woods.
Looking forward to your upcoming winter adventures, the tent/stove combo sounds like it'll be amazing! Really enjoy watching your adventures, making up for rubbish snow conditions here in the UK!
Very cool stove!! Going to look into it! Thanks for sharing!
What a beautiful area! Wish I were there! Love the new stove. Happy New Year to you Careena and Brandon
🌲🤍🎉
Nice looking stove Careena . You have a fantastically smooth axe swing .Looking forward to your new year trips
Your videos just keep getting better and better! It's never a dull moment in the woods! Take care stay safe!
Awesome stove Careena. It’s been great to see all your trips this last year and wish you and Brandon a very Happy New Year with more fabulous adventures to come in 2024.
A dull one, pish posh! A dull or mundane day in the woods is better than a day indoors. Wish I had some place like that to experience winter camping. Does not get that cold down here in Oklahoma. Love the content as always, simply brilliant at the basics. That new stove is simply marvelous. Happy New Year to you Careena, Brandon and your family. 🥰⛰🏔🏞
This was so beautiful to watch 😍
Haha thanks ma girllll!!! Hope you crazy kids are doing so well! ✨
Great video !! All of them are awesome . Wear safety glasses when chopping with an axe and watch the top of a dead tree when pushing on it they can break off at the top and fall on you.. had this happen I was alone too close call!!
Good luck 👍
Awesome video! Getting that fire started in those conditions, is amazing. Best!
Not boring at all.. great stove. You work that saw and ax like a boss. Next video maybe you’ll have snow!! Happy New Year!
Hey, I like your video. Great job let me tell you you really know how to use a ax pretty well I see that you’ve bend at the knees and your using it like a whip. I tell my friends this and they don’t listen to me with the way, I see you bend your knees you’re getting that extra power stroke to get through the wood you really know what you’re doing. I got a Telya I’m impressed.
Nice video. I had faith that you would get the fire going. Your all set for a winter camp. Happy New Year!
Been watching your videos for a few years now. Love how you do life! Blessed New Year to you, girlie!
Thank you so much!!
That Titan needs some gear! Bumpers, winch, sliders and stuff..😁
I agree 😁😁
I love your videos. I enjoy nature myself, so watching your videos gives me rest and energy for the future. 🤗🤗
Thank you so much!
KNOT WHAT YOU WANTED! HA
Remember to follow Leave No Trace principles and be mindful of the environmental impact of winter camping. Enjoy your winter adventure and the tranquility of a snowy landscape!
That new stove looks so great! annnnd now I want coffee
Just watched a Bob Wells video about wood stoves and how to stay warm winter camping. He highly recommended the Winterwell folding wood stove. He demonstrated the small-sized version of yours and it worked great too.
I have the titanium folding one too, that little thing is an absolute BEAST, I love it for my smaller hot tent setup!
Impressive getting that fire going with all that really wet material.
Thank you for another trip into thee woods. Out-standing, have a marvelous year with your family. " 🙏 "
Lmao the “yes that piece is small enough throw” after dealing with it forever is classic, been there before
So enjoyed your video. Love the look on your face when sawing the logs lol. Great effort you put on those👍 🙂
love the size of that stove!
Good job! Ty for sharing👍
Nothing you do outdoors is dull! Have had a lot of fun outdoors in the winter.
Like how you paused when the Raven started going off❤
Haha ravens are so cool!
Get yourself a few wedges of various sizes and a heavy mallet. It will cut down on your exhaustion when splitting wood, and is more efficient than trying to fight it!
Nice new stove!! Can;t wait to see it in use. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and have a great New Year in 2024!!!!
Two things needed. Fixed car awning and a Silky Saw. Life is way easier that way.. 👍🇦🇺
Nope, I hate hate hate silky saws, still have them, never use them.
A big canvas tent would be awesome! Looking forward to the content will put out. Been thinking getting a canvas tent to leave on family property we have use while working on the land.
That sounds awesome, they're so handy as semi-permanent shelters for sure!
@@careenaalexis just pricey when already have a camping gear addiction 🤣
Love the setup. Hope to see you soon. Vids get better and better.
Happy New Year! Just wanted to say that those stoves are designed to run as much chimney as are with them, it may have draw issues without all of it on.
It had no draw issues at all, and I was only doing the burn on the sections that would be inside my tent, when I use this stove with my hot tent I will of course have all the sections of pipes and elbows on lol
@@careenaalexis ok, you might not notice it on a quick burn. It will likely be noticed on a long burn, like an overnighter. May burn faster with a shorter pipe due to convection. Just wanted to point it out because I had a problem with one I built that was solved by adding pipe. Similar sized to that one. Made a 3 refill night into a 2 refill nite!
Dang you swing a mean axe!!!! 🪓
Looking forward to more of your winter camping trips this year....
I really love camping so much. some time I cook food in camping pot at home, to make my felling that I went real camping.
Nice to find you. Thanks for sharing this
You’re lucky it’s so beautiful there I’m stuck in Florida 😢great video
You led this one off with some really nice music. Like being on Walton Mountain without having to look at John boy. Edit...I was just thinking about your little motorcycle. An e-bike trailer hitch will bolt on to the rear shock absorber. I use a childrens hauler with a Husky storage bin screwed into the frame. You could haul that gear behind you.
I’m surprised you don’t have any snow in Canada yet Careena. We don’t have snow in Michigan either. Awesome Stove! I look forward to seeing your new tent! 😃
Haha yeah it's been a very disappointing winter so far...
Happy new year. It's always good to hear from you thanks. As always have a great day
Looks like you got a giant rocket stove there 😂😂
Just a little electric Chainsaw would be nice. Save much time plus SAVE YOUR BACK.
Lol chick is tough
... Happy New Year Alexis ,, Good to see you get out in the woods ,, at least for a coffee and burn in the new stove .... I have the Woodlander medium for a few years now ,, serves me well ... look forward to see it all set up .... suggest getting a double wall section where it goes through the tent stove jack ... Stay Safe ...
Awesome video again thanks for sharing with us. Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas 🎄. Here's to a prosperous and happy New year 😊.
Happy New Years 🎉
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you & Brandon!!! lookin forward to winter camping season, its been warm here, in the 50s so far!! thanks for sharing & be safe!!!
Enjoyed the awesome video, can't wait for the next one . Thanks and take care.
Glad you enjoyed it
I live a few miles from the beach in Southern California, so we never get any snow. It looks like you haven't gotten your usual snow. That stove looks very cool. ✌️🇺🇸🇨🇦✌️
Yeah it's been a super disappointing winter for snow so far, hoping to get some soon!! So Cal must be beautiful all the time!
It was great ! Loved it! I just got a stove so watching you helps me! Thank you!
Glad I could help!
Should get canadian prepper to come hang out at base camp. That be cool
Should get me...that would be even cooler
That's called, "working yourself out of your jacket." It makes a person feel good.
Love my Springbar 10’x10’ tent. Easy setup and takedown.
Very cool! Just found your channel. Subscribed! I need a stove setup.... Super cool!
Yoooo keep it up these are amazing and inspiring im going out for my first winter campout this weekend because of you we just got the perfect storm for it too :3
Can’t wait to see the tent!
We need more woman in the outdoors like your self instead of being in the kitchen God bless you you are doing a great job keep up the hard work
It's always nice to sit out and listen, too the sounds of the country/ woods. Stove looks like a good investment and curious about that tent. Hurry up and make a video showing the tent off.
🇺🇸🇺🇸🪓🔪👍👍
Good morning from Minnesota USA!! Nice episode.
Happy New Year!!!
No snow here in Upper Michigan either .. we're all so disappointed!
Soooo disappointing for sure!!
Nice video. Take care and have a blessed and safe week and Happy New Year
I'm not sure how all that works with companies reaching out to video creators, but was thinking just before you started explaining about the large tent and all, why more companies don't reach out to you all(maybe they are starting to now) since I believe you do a very good job of showing how useful the products you use are. I like others have mentioned in the comments have been around for years now, and still enjoy watching the videos you all show on either channel. I always enjoy watching how you and Brandon interact with each other, and really look forward to when you all are able to do that and upload a video of it. Happy New Year to you all, stay safe!
Thanks so much for the kind words! I do get a lot of offers for gear but I turn most of them down because I like to only endorse products I actually think are good, and I have a lot on my plate with mentions and products already :) Thanks so much for all the support!!
Thank you for this video. Cool stove!
Happy New Year!
Thanks, enjoyed your video. ✌🏻👊🏼
Thanks as always for the support Butch!
Very nice video!
Nice Stove!
A Happy New Year 2024 for you and your Hubby!
Thanks so much as always my friend!
og and happy news year both of you
That is a really cool stove.. love it. Thanks for the video
Thanks for watching!
I have springbar. It's a great tent. I think you'll love it.
Awesome! I'm excited to use it!!
Tarp camping is never dull... NEVER,once in a while it can be....nerve wrecking, but never dull😏
Some nice serious non ulw gear🕵️
Never boring 😊
Good video I am in the process of checking out stoves ,breaking my new trimmer F250 up in the Sierras this year. I love camping in the backcountry and now I have the rig to get me back there. Thanks for the tips, out today to check it out.
Sounds wicked!!!
Cool ive had the large one of this stove for a few years i like it well enough. Thought about getting the one with the extra window but i think i made the right choice, fewer ways to leak.
I wanted the window too, but this is more practical for sure, more hardy too.
Birch bark contains some kind of oils, and that's why it will burn even when humid, I was once told...
Happy 2024 to you and hubby!
Yes, but this bark was absolutely soaked, I’m always surprised how well the oils catch even when wet
Great to see you, Happy New Year, blessing to you and Mr B.
Thank you kindly!!!
Wish you a Healthy and Happy New Year Careena and Brandon 🙏🏻 God Bless
Appreciate you my friends 🫶
Loved it Carrena.. ty for the time you put into these vids. Waiting on a group get together like last year on the lake with the hot stove tents.. well wishes to you and Brandon for 2024!!!😎❤️👍
Haha thanks so much, the winter camp crew has another one planned this year!!
@@careenaalexis Seek out the freemasonry hand signs and symbols and expose these.
Get to know whom is in that evil club.
And may i advice some movies and tv shows what to analyze through?

Brilliant video as all ways
Thx for this one, be well, Adam/Tofino
EXCELLENT choice of background music to top off a fine video...OCB
Merry Christmas ☕🌹🏍️
Strange winter so far….so little snow. And not cold.
Cool video
Very cool 😎
That’s the same stove I use camping, but I got the large nomad view. Pretty good stoves,,,
I wish I went for the nomad view too, but overall I'm super happy with this one!
How long of a first burn to get rid of the smell/ smoke? Does the manufacturer give a recommended time? I built a plywood tonneau cover for my truck with foldout legs so it can be used as a table in this type of camp situation. Might be useful for your basecamp setup.
A Very Happy New Year to ya...not dull.
Happy New Year to You and husband. Safe New Year.
I have the same stove for a few years now, and I don't think the build quality was very good. In particular, the draft door welds were all cracked and the door flopped around a bit. In the end, I paid a guy to re-weld the cracked welds on the door and its been fine since. It does get very, very hot. It might need a cast iron trivet to prevent food from burning instantly.
Interesting, never herd of any issues before, must have been one of a kind fluke. I've had some really hot fires in the Nomad Medium I've had for years and I never had an issue, it was little tank and handled everything I threw at it, was just a touch small for my tent.
thats a really nice stove ive always wanted to get one like that .
Nice to see you out again. Hope you guys are doing well. Cool stove. I do have two questions. How did you get a good draft with the door closed? Is there holes in the base plate? Can't wait for the next video. Stay well and safe.
There's a small draft under the window on the door that has 3 positions for airflow :) Thanks as always David!!
@@careenaalexis Thank you.
Well happy New Year from Wisconsin USA.
Happy New Year! Cool stove. We have had very little snow so far this winter here in Pennsylvania.
Yeah, It's bee na super disappointing winter so far, I was hoping to get out snowmobiling already but it's looking like there is going to be very little of that this year :(
great vid once again and happy new year to you 😊
I like that stove. Good video. Happy New Year
Merci pour cette vidéo, je te souhaite une bonne année 2024 Albert
Nice to the point video. When you set up the stove, you pointed out the spark arrester. Why did you not attach it? Those were mean flames coming out of the stack.
The purpose of this first burn was only to burn off the chemicals from manufacturing, not to have a perfect setup, that will be in this weekends video :)
