You should do a video about American-Israeli ace Rudy Augarten who scored six aerial victories in four different aircraft types in both WWII and Israel's War of Independence. The story of Israel's first ace Modi Alon is just as interesting. He scored five aerial kills in the Avia S-199 before it ultimately claimed his life in a landing accident.

@@showtime112 You have to remember the British and Egyptian interests were aligned at the time and the British would throughout the war support their Arab clients and even had a mutual defense pact with the Egyptians because of the Suez Canal. You allude to the most logical error being an error of intelligence and the Egyptians simply thought the base was a Jewish one due to faulty intelligence. But these British pilots took to the air to defend their base as you would suspect a fighter pilot would desire to do.... and the rest is history.
Do a video when a Swiss Me109 fighter shot down a German Me 109 (or a US P51, don't remember clearly) when it drifted into Swiss airspace during WW2. Also during the Vietnam War a US Bell UH-1 (that belonged to the CIA-backed Air America) shot down an NVA An-2, check it out.
This would be an interesting story. I think the Swiss shot down both German and Allied airplanes during the war. I need to find some detailed sources about it.

@@showtime112 Yes you have right, I have made my investigation, and no dogfight reported but something interesting 260 egyptian military aircraft were destroyed on the soil by the coalition air force (french, english and the Isralien). Maybe it's the beginning of the idea which used the israelien for making their strategy in 1967, during the six days war, destroy all the planes on the soil for paralysing the air support and giva advantage about the number of planes to the Israelien.

What’s the chances of the Canadian and South African pilots flying for Israel being squadron mates of the British pilots while they were serving in RAF during WW2?
Some of the Israeli volunteer pilots did serve in the RAF. But I think many British pilots at that point were not WWII veterans anymore. I think all of the four shot down by Israelis joined after the war.

The Typhoon shot down the drone.....but few days ago a ukranian MiG-29 was shot down in combat against a russian/iranian Shahed 136, the pilot survive, is the first time a combat aircraft is lost to a RPV!!!!!!!!!!

The Ukrainians have found that by hitting the deck before the missile is within 30km then it losses lock. May explain why Russia thinks they have wiped out the Ukrainian airforce three times over, though the actual losses are closer to 52 planes.

Thanks for the feedback! The main platform used for these videos is a flight simulation. Mostly DCS World but sometimes IL-2 Great Battles. Then, there's some Reshade filters, HItfilm Express for the editing and so on.

As much as I remember, there wasn't much of that in the 1956 conflict. Some non-confirmed cases maybe.

It was engine failure do to a burn out. The mig 29 engines are famous for their short comings.
