- Touge drift is where drifting cars started so if you find yourself wanting to drift the touge in Assetto Corsa you need the best touge drift tracks! I included tracks like Ebisu Circuit Touge Course as a great touge to learn on. It was the first touge i ever drove in real life and I loved learning how to drift my car on the track. From there the touge courses get really tough like Ek Akagi, Ek Nagao, Mountian Futatabi, and lastly Sakanotsuji Touge, one of the tightest togues Ive ever drifted on!

If you haven't already have some runs on Hayato and Mizukoshi touges by 90gdsp, nice and tight but great fun when you get it dialed.
Irohazaka by Project Kaido is also fantastic, drove it last time I was in Japan in a r34 gtr and the recreation certainly holds up.

Addressing your comment about using to much handbrake while trying to touge drift; (Personally some of my favorites disciplines to learn tighter car control) When you know you're approaching a hard sweep or tight hairpin, being aware of how much front grip you have and using scan-flicks to help use your weight to snap the transitions alternatively to the E-brake. Freestyling Touge like you were doing, its obviously difficult to be that calculated. Ive had a fun time really trying to stay away from my E-brake even while learning some of these roads.

@@HaugenRacing I've been practicing on CarX, here's a run from yesterday. ua-cam.com/video/O2Xz2lfgQ4A/v-deo.html . But I just started using Assetto Corsa so need way more practice to have some good footage. Also it doesn't come with good cameras 🎥 angles. Need to find some chase cams.

Sometimes you mention that cars take a little bit of tuning before they feel right for you... can you make a video on the things you do and how they affect the car?

Uphill touges feel like they're pulling the car down. You need to be a lot more aggressive on throttle and a lot more pensive as to your lines because they scrub off your speed a lot more when you mess up. Downhill touges feel like a train that you can't stop. Almost like rally racing, slowing down is the way to go. Your speed is harder to scrub off, which is why you rely on handbrake a lot more (naturally).
