This is EK Nanamagari, a brand new Assetto Corsa Touge Track Mod that is seriously fun. It's almost like someone combined all the greatest features of the most popular touges from Initial D, and mashed them up into one.

I reckon this is the best looking touge mod we've got on Assetto Corsa. Do you agree, or do you know of a more beautiful one? 🤔
whats the background music in this vid
EK sadamine is equally beautiful.
This is really beautifull, but I think tsukuba fruits lane looks really good too. I cant decide between those two
One of the best IMO is Mt. Futatabi. It's really detailed, and very technical. I really don't get why it's not as popular as it should be.
Isnt it just a port from an initial D arcade stage map?
Yeah I'm definitely gonna be teaching myself this one once my replacement wheel comes this week. I get so many different vibes from this course and I think this style is perfect. Personally whenever I'm on a lot of other touges, it feels like I'm taking the same corners over and over again so it's nice to see something that has a good range of high and low speed corners, plus some nice scenery to help with some nice immersion.
Yeah it's definitely unique in that regard!
What an amazing touge, but I think the way you presented it was even more impressive. I loved the jokes you threw in, the fact that you went through the entire course giving tips on what I should or shouldn't do, and the flawless editing, keep up the good work :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love the race that Keisuke had on this road against the guy with the red Z in Initial D. It's a perfect display of Ryosuke's ingenuity and intelligence and Keisuke's skill as a driver.
1:11 Corner where Shinji saw Takumi's 'wings'
2:46 Corner where Takumi pulled away from Okuyama
So iconic
hello there, I recognized just the bridge in the beginning
Wait Shinji wasn't onthst
@@XTR_NEELAN during the race with spiral, shinji was watching with his mum
wasn't the corner when shinji saw takumi's wings in tsubaki?
"Old Nanamagari Road" Tōkaidō in Hakone. Truly beautiful... I've been playing the 90sGDSP version and I have loved this for so long. It's a blessing for drifting! (I'm not a racer)
Also, the reason it's 7 and not 13 is because the first 7 hairpins are the ones that were drifted. The rest weren't.
7 was drifted 80s to early 90s. Mid 90s, they only ran 4 hairpins.
Finally Nanamagari is here. Had some experience racing in this path when playing Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift 2 (although it only has the consecutive hairpins), glad to see it in AC.
Oooh TXRD2 was so good. Learned so much in that game
Speeding through the town part makes me feel guilty and cautious 😂 Some good townsfolk is probably being woken up by screeching tires and roaring engines.
Where i live, there no choice sadly. I dont wanna kill myself in someones walls
This is a good touge for practicing big rithm changes. Already did a few downhills there and it was really fun!!
Good video, continue like this
Pd: is better if u try going really slown at first on the last corner before the town, and after that, try going faster slowly. Thats what I do
This the touge where in Initial D 5th stage was foggy it was FD vs Z33 (or 350Z) in uphill and AE86 vs S15 at downhill...!!! I was glad this game added this touge since Initial D didn't show us how good as a touge course this is since they put a fog on it...!!!
I absolutely adored 七曲り in ID8, so i'm super happy this got ported to AC. Definitely gonna check this out tonight!
Yea it's on TL2, ended up driving there for 6 hours today. My legs hurt so much but now I have some epic replays so it's all good absolutely worth it.. bye bye legs
that wrx gc8 type R is a great car to drive i love it

What a brilliant video. I have never seen your channel before so I didn't know what to expect, but this blew me away. Good job!
I started wayching you at 2k subs and I’m really proud of how far you have come! Keep up the good work dude!
Thanks man! I appreciate the support :)
Definitely need to do more of this style of video. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
2:12 I’m sorry but the way you said speed made me laugh 😂 also keep up the great content
I was waiting like hell and just finished you last video again
I could watch you talking about the layouts of touges all day. Love it.
Nanamagari is so cool, ive seen hundred of videos from the 80s and 90s with lots of cars and people drifting and vybing in those harpins, the 90s Golden Drift Spot version of the touge was more acurate to the real life road but it wasnt the full one like this one
There's so many sim racing channels these days, but I'm glad I bumped into this one!
subaw doing its professional job of being a pro car in an amazing place with an amazing driver
this is such an underrated channel for such a good work!I love your vidoes and ive been watching them alot lately so i decided to finally give you a sucscribe
I'm gonna install this rn. Love your videos as always!
This may be the best video about a touge ever...
IT IS! Sick video man, helped me a bunch!
Worth the wait for the vid
Keep up the work 💯
I recently went back to assetto corsa because I started seeing touge videos but the only track I could find in game was an italian hillclimb where you start at the bottom. glad to see there are awesome mods to get!
Download CM and check racedepartment there's so many more awesome Touges but this one is pretty epic too. Kinda like "new Akina" but better
@@SHIZURAKU thanks, hopefully the CM helps, tried to run this map but it wouldn't load into the race.
Underrated channel! Love ur vids!
I'm at school right now, can't wait to go home and give this map a try in a 22b, great review btw :)
I first encountered this track in Kaido Battle (dry, but fun game on PS2) albeit shorter and only using the Nanamagari portion of the track. Seeing it in full in AC is amazing and really makes me to get the game.
But I don't have munneh to buy wheel set *sed noises
That game slaps but shame I never learnt to tune cars properly
@@generalbertoni7495 it's never too late to learn. Go one setting at a time, learning what it does and experimenting to how it effects you with each tweak. Real life explanation videos can also help as this is a simulator.
After you get a good grasp of what all the adjustments do, you can tweak your car to your specific style or track depending on what you find lacking or problematic. Guide graphs are also a good way to streamline and simplify this process while you are getting a good idea on the process.
Using stock setups are totally fine but even a simple tweak can heavily give you an advantage and allow you to drive more aggressively or differently. Though there's no shame using someone else's tune, you'll still want to add some final touches to make it more suited for yourself.
The best part is that your knowledge can be quite easily transferred between other sims and also a bit for real life applications.
If it's the same game as Tokyo Xtreme Racer: Drift, that was unfortunately a different road they call Hakone. They did a good job picking very famous, but also very annoying, roads for that game (that particular Hakone, Haruna, Iroha, Front Rokko).
I love this touge.
After I practiced a bit, I must say you summarized very good.
Join the touge union server number 2, then you also learn to drive the touge on one lane to avoid guys coming in the opposite direction 😁
I raced here before, it's extremely fun in a AWD vehicle, be it the downhill or the uphill you'll never get bored of laping it with any vehicle
Keep up with Euro and Koz they make the best assetto touges. Ive been doing this one for a while and its one of my favorites.
For sure, although all their maps are just ripped from the Initial D games ;) 90sGDSP make the best scratch built mods imo
@@TSRB 90s gdsp mods are extremely good the foliage is unreal for assetto corsa
any other recommendations ?
good presentation man
This looks so much fun. I'm totally downloading this!
I had a theory yesterday would't it be possible to do the jump on Irohazaka. I had the idea to pull the handbreak just in the right moment so the rear of the car is still on the road and the front is in the air. So you move your line right into the corner, but your line will be screwed up anyways beacuse you need your weight on the rear so your front can "do the jump". It could also be possible that I just have a bad idea and will waste my time on trying it, i will try it tomorrow but feel free to give it a shot if you want
I usually only play AC for the Wangan but this looks like a load of fun. Gonna give it a go on controller(😂😂😂) Thanks for the review / guide. Very helpful and nice presentation.
I love this map, I started playing it on your server. I will say I learned the corner at 3:45 ish I can keep through the kink and brake after it and still pass through without dying (most of the time lol) atleast in the Civic.
this'll be fun once i have my wheel set up and some practice in
Ooooh, now having driven this a bit, it's better than I initially thought it'd be. I literally did only like 6 runs and was already doing 5:05 times. And yeah that's not that fast but for the initial learning stage and me, that's good. I think this will become one of my default touge alongside fruits line, dousojin, mount futatabi, hakone ohiradai and maze. Also, I love the hairpins section on this, it's not annoying like Irohazaka, it's similar but actually enjoyable.
edit: btw, @happi , if you're around, your MR2 freaking shines on both uphill and downhill nanamagari, if you don't have it definitely get this touge.
This video was very entertaining. It's crazy how much you've evolved as a content creator!
Thanks :) Got to keep switching it up until something works!
@@TSRB Seems to be working very well my friend, you've come very far in less time than I expected and that's all down to the quality of the videos. The flow is great, cinematic views on point, jokes are nice, just keep it up and keep on growing!
Do you use neckfx for your cockpit view? It looks nice in the video. Would love to see a video covering neckfx and it's settings, particular settings that give a better feel of g-forces since that's a missing element in sim racing
I've never really got into Touge but I think I will start with this
Anyone who uses drum n bass to cleanly frame smooth driving is alright with me 👌🏾
I heard you sneak in there DJ Marky & Makoto - Free
What post processing filter do you use? Do you have a reshade filter on as well? Great video by the way 🤩
You hitting those hairpin apexes is pure asmr.
Interesting take on Nanamagari. I downloaded the road a few days ago and started driving it, but actually found it to be kind of boring, in the frustrating kind of way. The whole thing felt like your complaints about Akina a while back. high speed, then a hairpin or group of hairpins, then high speed followed by more hairpins. Funnily enough I never rally got into driving Akina until I started driving online. I had spent a lot of time on Myogi, Akagi, Shomaru, Irahazaka and Gunsai before that. I started really liking Akina though when I started driving it online. This just felt like Akina with bigger "straits" if that makes sense. So while the straits on Akina are short enough that I don't get board on them, the straits on Nanamigari are so long that I get board, and then frustrated because going into a hairpin, what feels like, every time I get up to speed is not my idea of fun. I'll have to retry it, but I've already spent about an hour and a half on it and only really enjoyed a few short parts of the track.
Somehow I find that my opinions of different mountain passes is exactly opposite of yours. Well, people having different opinions is fine, so I just find this to be kind of interesting.
I also don't want it to sound like I'm bashing you. I'm not, I actually think that this was a great technical introduction to Nanamigari and will be sharing this video with my friends because I intend to race them on it, even if it's not my favorite course.
I look forward to your next video as you do make some great content. Have a great day. :)
The small town is realy a nice touch of the map!
on that concrete wall corner you can float your tires above the inside of the grass for some extra speed
It’s been a while nut he always delivers!
3:52 was watching this bit then i realized how dope the bgm was
Can you do a vid on the best/most realistic stock production cars in assetto corsa. Like the STI you showed in this vid, I have been looking for around and wonder if you have some that you can recommend.
awesome video you are criminally underrated
Thanks :)
A must have !
this map is insane 🤩
I was so confused bc the front of the Subaru was like a 22B bc the fog lights then the back is like a GC8
I have been play GTA5M on a server called Dragon Drive and if you haven't checked it out before you def should. It's a free racing server on the 5M client mainly focused on touge racing. It has every touge road you could want (including Nanamagari) and many many cars. They have edited the way the cars handle to make them not like GTA if you know what i mean. It is realistic in the sense that you can really tell the difference between FWD, AWD, and RWD and need to drive them all a bit a different. Even though there is no clutch or manual shifting which is annoying at first but after a bit you figure out you need to take the correct line in order to be fast. I think you should check it out because i only ever see like 2 ppl on there and i think more people should know about it.
damn this is a SouthPawRacer Super Serious Track Guides
if im not mistaken the other road in wich you can't drive is Hakone Turnpike
7:02 Literally the ski resort on Mt Akina. ;)
Hey TSRB What wheel do you use and perhaps if its the g920 can you make a video for the best settings cause I don't understand it. It either shakes like hell or I turn down road effects and then it doesn't turn in time and I crash into the guard rail. Your a very organized youtuber so I'm asking you nicely because I see other videos from other people and they don't make much sense lol.
This is the Old Hakone road, the new Turnpike (toll) road is that road that you go over and under in the "nanamagari" section.
Actually the Turnpike is a bit south of Nanamagari. The road that you go over and under is actually the New Hakone Road.
i've consumed a lot of content on assetto corsa. never played it myself personally. and after all these years this is the video that finally makes me wonder.
how feasible is assetto corsa on a gamepad
You certainly can play it with a gamepad, although you may end up wanting for a wheel/sim setup. I know there are even some videos of people driving on gamepad, however if you find you like the game since it should be cheap to pick up, and heck steam has returns if you truly hate it, look into a wheel. They are actually quite affordable if you just snag a used one, and there are many ways you can save space to set them up without full sim equipment.
Nanamagari
Nanamagari (七曲り) is the home course of Team Spiral. It is part of the Old Tokaido that spans Hakone and Odawara in the Kanagawa prefecture. It is perhaps well known for its 12 consecutive hairpins.
Project D's penultimate battle with Team Spiral was held here during the foggy post-rain weather.
Trivia
Nanamagari in Japanese means 'Seven' (Nana) and 'turns' (Magari, a form of the verb Magaru, which means 'to bend') referring to the seven hairpins in the course, despite the fact that there are actually thirteen hairpins in the course.
I was just in a tournament with this map. Upload this exact video a lil sooner next time 😭
the camerawork in this video is top tier
gotta be honest, you really should check out Happo ga Hara from EK. the flow of it is the best ive seen yet, even better than tsuchisaka. especially in a small car like the AW11
this vid made me subscribe
nice car choice
I saw the corner where takumi is racing with tomoyuki
Can you give us an updated link to that Impreza? I've been looking for that specific one for a while now and still no dice...
So weird that you only have 29k subs, really feels like a channel with 100k+
Hahaha thanks! This is quite a small sub-niche unfortunately
@@TSRB It's crazy that it is, considering the popularity of Initial D. I guess the price for a sim setup is too steep for a lot of people.
@@Section927 Yeah for sure. And when you consider the biggest channel in Sim Racing proper doesn't have a million subs, it puts it into perspective on how small this touge sim racing niche really is xd
I just found nice Hyundai Genesis mod, I think he will give me a lot of fun on this touge ☺️
could you talk about throthle control and keeping the car under control, because every time i drive i either oversteer or understeer and its really annoying. would be very nice to see a video about it.
This was in Tokyo Extreme Racer Drift 2, a Gran Turismo clone about touge racing. Go check it out, def one of my favorite simcades ;)
It looks like the first race in initial d stage 4
The one that takumi used the blind attack in
Just a question, do you use the Streets, Semislicks or tyres from mods
The way u show ur crashes makes me feel, more human.
Mountain Akinagi :o
First two minutes i thought this was real life lol
Real OG for using Bunta's GC8
I find it crazy that Touge is a single Driver Category Asphalt Rally. Absolute Madness. Would never have the guts to do one by myself
Yeah it's kinda crazy, although in real life I believe the drivers know the roads extremely well - much like racing drivers know circuits like the back of their hands
If you want a initial fan game I recommend initial unity it's actually good game there's even youtube vids about it
The WRX thought
Can you do a review of happogahara pls?
Oh I love the type r so much
Can you try txrd2 (tokyo Xtreme racer drift 2) and give us you opinion about it?
My AC with CSP is very un-optimized and everytime I play it stuttering like mad when I start the race but smoothen out while driving, strange.
i gotta start playing asseto
Looks a lot like Usui
I love Akina
This remembers me to myogi idk why xD
Neither of the two mods in the descripition works, the subaru one makes an error when i open the game and it doesen't show in the cars, i can select the track but if i want to start the practice run it just doesen't open
we need this in carx
damn why is there so much of akagi s-shape mid speed turns
How are your subbies front wheels not pclipping on the surface? I want to cry, and yes I can tell by other games Nanamagari is an excitement to drive on.
Can anyone tell me the GC8 mod he used? The links doesnt work anymore :c
Is this a part of Hakone mountain pass
From Kaido battle(xtreme tokyo racer Drift 2 (ps2))
Yeah it's the full version
akina and akagi!
Its amazing to drift this touge
