McCarthy has gone 12-5 the last three seasons in a row and that’s with Dak Prescott at QB. He’s a better HC than you think. I’d pay Parsons, let Cee Dee Lamb walk and I’d set a firm number with Prescott and not budge. If you don’t think the Cowboys are a SB team the next few years, then you’re wasting your money on Dak. I’d roll with Trey Lance and see if there’s anything to be salvaged. If not, I’d start scouting college QB’s in earnest. It’s time to get off the Dak Prescott perpetual treadmill.
Cowboys fans need to let go of Trey Lance. There’s nothing to roll with. He’s unfortunately just not a good qb.
@@JWLSportsidk if I would give up on Trey just yet cause he’s only played 6 games in the NFL if that. I don’t think San Fran was a good fit for him at all. I think Dallas could be a place for Trey to succeed in he just needs to get some reps and experience and we’ll find out this year during preseason and season when he gets his shot and see what treys made of.
@@JWLSports you’re probably right. But everyone knows what Dak Prescott is. And even with the intangibles, for 60 million per that a lot of money for someone who can’t deliver a SB. Let him go to the Raiders.

Not a cowboy fan but they’re definitely good enough to win a Super Bowl. You need a bit of luck to get there and they self destruct for whatever reason
I’m gonna say this. Over The last 20 years on the cowboys pertaining to players getting their big contracts. Every one of them not named Dak Prescott under performed. Read that again.
The only problem with everything you said is that Jerry Jones thinks HE is the expert.. One of the reasons if not the main reason he got rid of Jimmie Johnson was because Jimmy deservingly so got all the credit for the super bowls but Jerry wanted it and still does which is why he's the GM he sits in on offensive meetings etc etc
Pay Dak pay CD and Parsons. Simple as that. I know it will leave us broke but you either believe in this team or you dont. Also keep Trey because there's potential there. QBs are hard to come by and theres a lot invested in them.
I agree with you Dak does command a lot of money. But what’s wrong with that? All Starting QBs command a lot of money. Dak is way better than Trevor Lawrence and he just got paid. Stop blaming players. The Cowboys are horrible at running the front office in terms of contracts. They are great at drafting but horrible at contract situations. You don’t wait until all of your players are in a contract year to pay them. The Eagles have no problem paying anybody because they know how to stay ahead of the cap

I’m a fan of a lot of teams honestly. I really try to be as unbiased and even as I can. I have no desire to follow in the footsteps like Nick and the Chiefs or Stephen A and the Knicks.
Have you seen Micah when they run in his direction. He’s absolutely helpless and a liability. Cee Dee Lamb is best player on that team followed by Diggs. I’d pay Lamb wait on Dak and trade Parsons and his big ass mouth and his big game disappearing act. Zero stats against packers overrated! LT would eat running backs up and Micah is scared of them

Dak has played the best that he can physically, it’s his mental that’s the problem.
Why would we not win with a different qb? Cooper rush was 5-1 . We got proof we can win without him
I’m not saying you can’t. But also that 5-1 was a long time ago in football years. And a very short sample size. Even the backup for the bengals looked like he was ready to unseat Joe Burrow until he went belly up.
McCarthy isn’t a great coach his philosophy is play not to lose instead play to win he was like that way with the packers at the end of his tenure with GBP

I cant stand the Cboys so I hope they pay their very average Qback Dak Prescott as much as possible so they can't get good players. What a circus, love it.
I’m with you as well. As as football player Dak isn’t the best nor is he the guy to put you over the top but, his leadership skills and who he is in that building is and has been wildly underrated and very important.
If it’s me, I would try to find a way to pay all three of them and have them as Dallas next “big 3” like the Aikman, Smith and Irving. Then, go out and get one of these young and very impressive young coaches and draft and develop, which Dallas is very good at.
I think they sign all 3 but, unfortunately I think Dallas will not hire the right coach/es or keep McCarthy
Yeah I think that's deadly accurate. I'd almost be like this is all the money that can be divided between the 3 of you. Figure it out you 3 and decide how competitive you want to be for the next 4-5 years. Either way you're all rich!
They had all 3 last year, but were destroyed by GB in the playoffs. Dak has been in town for a decade; he simply can not elevate his play in the playoffs.

Losing Dak after this year makes them not even close to the playoffs

Move on from Dak. He will not make it over the hump. 8 years of evidence. He couldn’t do it with Amari, ceedee, and prime zeke. He just can’t.
