- I have thought of different ways on How I Will Brace the Solar Array. I think I have finally come up with a plan. I am using brackets to Brace the Array from underneath using a 2X4 and some screws. Trying to use the most cost effective approach doesn't always work out but think it will in this case. I was a power linemen for 32 yrs .cross arm braces and all the hardware always came in handy for any kind of build. We did tear outs through everything away. Great job on the aray!

Worked with line crew in communications both on our side and power side. You’re right, a lot of that hardware can be used for many types of projects.
Good you got the van back. What terrible situation there from that storm. The weather really is changing. We had such a wet summer this year and last winter there was sloppy wet snow. We’ll see what this winter brings. Take care!
Richard on weather it is on a 26,000 years cycle, because of earth takes 26,000 years to complete the wobble of the axis . if one looks at the sedimentary rock formations you can see the layers of the weather cycles caused by the Continental flooding.
They even can detect the climate shifts in the Ice cores from Greenland and Artic based on the trapped pollens, dust and other gasses in the Ice.
I would listen to my Grandmother tell stories about what it was like in 1941 when che moved to Oklahoma and how it would stop raining the end of May and would not start again until the middle of August to the 1'st of September, and she would say by the first of July one was to drop a match the land would burn over.
She would also talk about how much snow Tennessee would get in the winter in Macon county, and how she walked to school in the snow to her knees in December and January as a child, and she was born in 1904.
Our weather is always in flux and what we call normal to older generations is abnormal weather.
Humanity has thrived on this planet in the last 20K years on relative calm weather that has supported human civilization, but before that the weather on the earth according to science was very violent toward human life and life in general.
Everything we call normal it relative to our span of existence, and what a future generation calls normal, we call abnormal.
As the earths weather has a history of going from one extreme to another. Look at how many Ice ages there has been and warm periods.
200 years ago the period called the little Ice Age was ending and our warm period was starting.

Why not use use metal plates on each side of the 6X6 drilled on center with a fixed bolt on one side and holes on the arm to adjust for the diferent setting on the arm with a removal pin on the other side.

Wouldn't you drill a hole at your best point for the summer? In your 2 before and then drill a hole for the best point in the 2 before for your wintertime and then you wouldn't have to do anything else, because all you have to do is push your 2 before up-and-down and slide your pin in the holes and you can use one hole in this or a 6 by sixes. You don't have to put 2 holes in the 6 / 6. All you have to put 2 holes in your 2 before you see what I'm saying. And then you just push your two before up, slide your pin back in easy as that
like the rest of the world in the shitter the province allows all the utility companies to put meters on your grid and place have to pay for water on your own well you paid for it solar panel you have a monthly power bill and your propane your billing that usage of that also still you responsible to buy the propane to refill the tank how that word you the propane company the gas company bill you to filling the tank up you will pay for the month payment the sea hag back room deals she has made
she did jump to raise the wage for her cabinet member again 8 times this year but does think minimum wage should be raised up restaurants here have automatic add aa tip on to your bill and the do thing you should tip them again and leave one on the table to for take they thing they should be tipped why that
