What an amazing tutorial! Everything you make is so user friendly and being walked step by step through a new process makes it feel so much less daunting. I’m excited to go try my hand at this palomino color in oils! Also your sculpt work on the horse with rippling on the skin and her tiny teats and braids! Amazing!
Your model came out looking gorgeous! I've been a little apprehensive to try out airbrushing and oil painting (my go-to method is chalk pastel), but your videos always make the process look way less of a hassle than I've always assumed from my limited experience (I learned airbrushing and oil painting in high school art class and found them both frustrating). I know your results come from a lot of hard work and practice, but seeing the process really gives me hope I'll be able to do it myself someday.
Do it! Half the battle is just diving in. I actually started with pastel myself and so I can say that you already have a lot of the skills and fundamentals you’d need for oils and airbrush (especially oils). Give it a try one day and see where it takes you 😊

Aww, thank you 🥰 I personally really like them, especially the finer grit ones. They’ve been so handy to both my prepping and painting process. They’re fairly low priced too, so I’d say grab a small pack and give them a try.

Will try to apply some of the wisdoms to acrylic 😅 but oil painting the models gives them a great smooth colour
