Good video. Adjust a thought- if you had the ball valve close to the tank, then any sediment wouldn’t settle in the drain pipe and potentially blocking flow or plugging it. Plus you’d be able to use all the solvent and not have any residual in the drain pipe.
what size was the pipe that screwed into the drain hole? i've heard it's a screwed up metric size & normal 1/4 pipe wouldn't fit in it. i'm getting ready to do all this to mine as well, great video.
the reason i double checked is because another video on here says he had to use an adapter because it was a metric size thread. i guess i'll have to check mine & see. thanks
mine turned out being just like yours. 1/4" pipe worked, but the dip shits ran the pipe tap a little deeper than it needed to be & i had to wrap the crap out of it with Teflon tape & tighten the crap out of it to get it to seal.
