I appreciate the help I just got my 86 300e running after 19 years
I had an interesting situation on my 1990 500SL where I was getting CEL and CODE 17 which related to bad O2 sensor. Replaced O2 sensor, no change. Finally realised the EHA was wet. So replaced that. Sorted!! Thanks for the help on the one too Pierre.
have the same problem on my 92 500sl thanks for sharing going to try to adjust it first if no change I will replace

I found my fuel leak, it was easy after I watched this video, at first I went the inexpensive route, and replaced the 'o' rings with a tiny dab of silicone grease to hold them in., but it still leaked. Luckily I had already purchased the EHA and replaced that. No leak! Funny I purchased the "Mercedes Original" on eBay. The box had the Mercedes-Benz label with the part number I was looking for, A 000 070 39 62, the inside Bosch tag had 2 437 010 040, and the new part had a third. They looked the same so I installed it and it fits and works so I am happy. Thanks again.
How much did you spend on the Eva valve ?
I paid $320 for a new OEM Mercedes part. Suggested by Pierre Hedary on UA-cam, Mercedes Classics with Pierre Hedary. Mine was leaking, I could smell gas but could not see where it was hidden. My OX sensor light went out also.@@AlonSOAMAZING
Have a 300se 1988 car sat for 7 years fuel went bad replaced fuel pump fuel filter fuel accumulator and fuel distributor car runs starts right up runs rough next thing is EHA can't wait to swap it out
Very useful! Very strong gas smell under air cleaner. Signs of gas leaking. Have torx screws which means this was replaced previously. Hard starting. Getting a replacement. On 560sl o2 sensor controls pressures in EHA. Does new one require adjustment?
How very timely!! I just replaced one yesterday on a 1989 300SEL!!
@@Ozkan_Ozturk No. This time it was mostly done for preventative purposes, as literally EVERY other part of the fuel injection system had been replaced. I did notice a slightly smoother idle after the replacement, and maybe a slightly quicker response time when adjusting the duty cycle. That's about it in this particular case!
Thank you for the knowledge....changing my EHA this week...initially, as stated I noticed a gas smell & upon further investigation discovered the leaky black box..& yeah, not a cheap part either...but better than being on fire.

What if the control pressure is to low
I have the control pressure at 5.7 and system pressure at 6.6 thats 0.9 bar difference.. the car runs fine with no issues..
Loooking for an E.H.A. right now.
After I replaced the EHA valve the check engine light code for the oxygen sensor went out. So did the 4 Matic warning light but I need to check to see if that is related.
My 89 300ce, after driving and shut off is very hard to restart have to pump gas , its is hesitant to get going, fine with my foot in her?? I have removed the tank, replaced all filters , screens, pumps and filters, Not the Acutuator? , new plug wires, need plugs but casn't find the right ones?? New Cap and rotor!! replaced the black rubber hoses under the injectors, New ejectorsas well?? Any ideas??
My 1991 190E started to loose power and the engine fails and shakes almost off it's mounts. I noticed leaking EHA. A friend of mine gave me two valves to try out and they were both leaking out of the leap hole. It's time to bite the bullet and order a new one.
? I have 1990 300 E when at idle car stumbles I unplug EHA car runs I replaced injectors fuel pumps fuel filter fuel accumulater does it mean when I unplug my EHA and car. Running better is that a cumpter problem or does the EHA out of a just meant

What does the EHA do and where is it located?
It is on the side of the fuel distributor, and it riches or leans the mixture depending on conditions
Eha leaking ever so slightly. Do I need to adjust the new eha? Everything else is within spec..
I replaced EHA and did not adjust the new one. It comes set I was told. Car drives perfect since I replaced it.

@@MrRjnr yes, it came with two O-rings. I did actually order a set of o- rings as I was not sure if they were included. They were not that expensive.
