One reviewer on Amazon referred to the low bit into ring mod sound was that of "grandfather clock in space"... pretty much how I ended up here.
"Grandfather clock in space" was the name of my 60's psychedelic rock band. We toured old folks homes and dropped acid in their prune juice. I played the lute and wind chimes.
Sounds awesome in person. Ive had mine for about four months i believe. Make sure you have the cables in the correct jacks to achieve proper output and depth for the rig your running
what exactly are the proper jacks? ive seen videos of people using only both Lefts
This is the pedal that will keep your soundman running to and fro the stage and tweaking the mixer console bec he thinks something is wrong somewhere 😂 😝

I mean, for this price you can't expect a sound like a Mobius or Synesthesia. Does great stuffs for the money and if you have patience, you can make great sounds (sorry for my english)

As someone trying to find best bang for buck (especially with black fri sales where a choice has to be made quickly and there isn't always the option to return if you "don't like it") perhaps try the more standard sounds first for these all in one parallel/series pedals so we know it can do the normal stuff before you show the crazy stuff? Some of us need to know the quality of the standard effects at playable rates to hear how they compare with well known stand alone units to see if this one is even worth considering. Thank you though!

I got this pedal second hand a while back. It is certainly quirky to use, but I'm getting used to it. To overcome the latency/drop-out thing, you can use a drum machine or a background drone at a very low volume - anything that maintains a constant signal and then the pedal won't drop out. I like to keep the control at a low setting - even at O - for some of the effects - and that keeps the guitar signal up. A little modulation effect goes a long way - so less is more. Kind of like adding a touch of seasoning. Would have been ideal to have a master volume/level control to set the level of volume output from the pedal - but it is what it is!

Maybe adjust the mix to blend the clean signal more. I just ordered one I hope I can make it sound better than this.

To be honest for some music that i have planned for a recital i really needed to hear whether this could make some of the wacked out sounds i need. Needles to say I'm very glad they showed them off haha

Deserves a part 2 demo showcasing the subtler sounds it can achieve. Examples with the depth/mix knob below 12 o’clock.
The heavy modulation sounds a little ridiculous with guitar, but I'm thinking this may be perfect with synths. Anyone tried it?
Most every modern synth already has these FX built in.....and many more even. My Korg has something like 360 FX! You can typically layer them 3 at a time!
I think Joyo missed the mark with this pedal. It's a great idea but just doesn't sound good. Now I'm looking at the Blackstar HT Modulation pedal. It's an older unit but the effects sound amazing.
I honestly don't know what they're trying to achieve with this pedal.
Maybe turn the mix and rate down and get some usable tones.
Would be interested to here this with the EHX parallel mixer along with some reverb and delays. Love a gradual modded reverb tail or delay repeat

I would love to hear what this pedal cam do as a no-input effect!
Just had one delivered. Switches on and sound travels through it in bypass mode but as soon as I hit either of the channel on buttons it kills the sound totally. No swivelling of knobs or switching of the mode toggle does anything to restore sound. Press the channel buttons off again and sound is resumed! Fudging well hopeless. Unless I am missing something insane!
I really like it, but i don't understand why sometimes there is an stereo slapback in some settings
There are some really nice tones and some really ghastly tones on this pedal. A mixed bag.
This has gotta be fine for someone who just plays in their headphone and busks occasionally, right?
I think it's "fine" for anyone wanting a bunch of modulation effects for an affordable price. Strymon are good, but they're pricey too. Joyo are for the "budget musician".

Will it play an octave below?
Very high latency when the pedal is active, with NO dry signal going through the pedal turns this into a 100% wet unintentional delay pedal plus dual modulation, and the result is UNPLAYABLE for me, and you may also hate it. Be warned.
I've also read other reviews talking about the latency so I basically decided against this pedal.
Doesnt this pedal also have a cab sim or am I thinking wrong

You can connect it normally in mono with just one cable, the two outputs are for a 2-amp setup. Cheers!
Sounds great but more useful settings and less "weird" unusable ones would have been nice for the demo ... half of these settings sounded like a tweaker or a 5 year old got ahold of the pedal :P
I'm neither a tweaker nor a 5 year old - I am someone who enjoys experimenting with effects pedals. I love "weird." I love "unusable." If you're not having fun, what's the point?

for 30 i wouldn't mind this pedal but at 100 there are other pedals i would use more get more use out of i my have a play with this for couple hrs then pack it a way in the pedal collection 100 to much for just a curious play
