Maybe you can remove the "new" kitchen instead of the "old" :
- increase "old" size
- move everything from "new" to "old"
- remove "new"
- move "old" in the place freed by "new"
I think the base tavern and kitchen can never be removed, only moved...

Its likly coded like this so that a new player can not by accident delete the starting kitchen and tavern. So yes the second kitchen should be deletable.
I would TOTALLY watch every minute of a runthrough of this :D

For anyone that speaks french i higly recomend the MP3 saga that inspired this game. Used to listen to it when i was in school (shit was famous here in Belgium and ofc in France) Their books were cool and they do music festivals apperences at "trolls et legende" here
fun fact, the audio series is just one person doing all the voices (it's pen of chaos for anyone interested)
One may assume that guards also sometimes hangout in the break room. The passage between guard room and tavern may potentially have been a good place for the break room.

Charlie, I just had a brilliant idea! So you can't deleate the starting kitchen, but you can move and edit it, correct? So maybe you should try deleating you new kitchen that you built, moving the old one in it's place, and then modifying it to be the way you want it to.

Interesting. I liked the Dungeon of Naheulbeuk, not all jokes where funny but the most of it was enjoyable. I never liked Dungeon Master or the "Dungeons" series because they play more like a RTS game where you build a Dungeon and defend it.
This looks right up my alley, a Dungeon Management simulation.
this game reminds me of "Kalypso media's Real Forge game [Dungeons] 1 a dungeon designing tycoon" that shares almost the same exact set up, also "Evil Genius" is another one that comes to mind..

Mate, later you unlock the training room, which effectively empty the guard room cause the guards all goes to train. So Guard room exactly on the entrance is only useful at the start.

Man, I’ve been putting off buying the Amulet of Chaos, hut have bought it after watching this. Here’s hoping Dungeon Keeper of Neheulbeuk reaches consoles in the next few months.
Would love to play a game where you can create your own dungeon/labyrinth, upgrade it by Hero Souls, spawn monsters, boss rooms, boss fights etc. main point of the game is prevent adventurers from obtaining our soul, "the creator". Enemies (adventurers) start with E ranks upto their "bosses" of SS or SSS ranks.

@@CharliePryor There also the original audio series with english subtitles on UA-cam (it's old, from 2001 so the humor is also old but it's still funny). The books are great too, I hope they translate them to english someday.
One solution for the uindeletable kitchen would have been moving it into the corner where you built the new kitchen and resizing it to fit, instead of building a new kitchen
There was a game 'simmiliar' to this back in the game.. there were AI good guys and you summoned evil monsters in their path whilst they were going through a level/dungeon of some sort... it was some sort of theme park vibe and at the end you played as the boss if the Good guys made it through (if anyone knows the name of this game PLEASE SHARE)

Hello :) great video and it seems to be a interesting fun game :) im puzzled by the space though.. or lack of building space. you are in the early start and you have pretty much filled out the whole floor. is that it for the entire game ? or do you get more tower floors/levels to build/expand upon ?? you earned a new sub btw, i like your style :)
The gibberish at the end of the contract is Goblin. In the original audio series they speak their own language.
Others in the comments say it’s Latin, and have offered a translation. I have no idea who to believe anymore. ;)

Fun playing Dungeon Master with you. The great ideas that you have to modify the game play "Tavern" makes the game so much more fun. Bought the game after I watched some of your video and wanted to play along with you. Great Job.
If I remember correctly evil genius 1 has a was to become untouchable by avoiding capturing a maid.

The inhuman resources office that close to the big boss bedroom? Are you sure, it is wise to let disgruntled yobs and unvetted hopefulls get that close to the boss?
Appears to have a good foundation for a fun and deep dungeon builder. But on further inspection, the game is super bare-bones, braindead and shallow when it comes to the core gameplay loop. Quite sad as the building and management portion actually looks pretty solid.
So its like evil genius but fantasy.
i have a problem with my dungeon. I have 4 toilets. 2 for trolls (not clean) and 2 hor humans (clean), a total of over 100 toilets but everyone keeps leaving my dungeon because there are no toilets???? how do i fix that anyone?

The price is quite high considering the gameplay possibilities the game offers - the question is, is it worth it? KeeperRL is great so far - but it's not even remotely similar, it looks like some cheap imitation of a dungeon game.

Only watched 50 minutes .... yikes ... anyway, in the reviews I did read that rooms can´t be deleted. If so then the only possibility is to resize the room to a minimum and/or perhaps merge it with an identical room?

Serious red flag right off the bat that they couldn't even come up with a unique title and instead try piggy-backing off a great classic.
It takes place in the same universe as the "great classic", as a prequel to it, and is produced by the same people who made that classic. What you're basically saying is that you're upset the Avengers End Game couldn't come up with something better than "Avengers" and instead chose to rip-off Avengers Ultron. The game has much of the same voice actors even. They aren't piggy backing the IP. They are expanding games within it
Maybe you're thinking of a different game, because the original Dungeon Master had no voice acting in 1987.
