somebody tell me why if i put Minecraft to 1 chunk ( 256 blocks) it gets like 30 fps if i put it to 64 chunks ( GOD DAM 16384 BLOCKS) it also has 30 fps on the same world same position random seed. me confused

Best optifine settings for 2gb ram pc with Intel Pentium and Intel HD graphics:
Max frame rate:100(if you set this to unlimited, you may get 400 fps but it will lag very badly).
If you want to see things even more clearly in 2 chunks ,then set the fog to off then your minecraft will become a lot more beautiful...

wow. i did not expect this to actually work. you don't get real vids that often, most of these are just "install optifine and get a rtx 3090 it's easy" but this actualy changed my fps from like 12 to like 29 fps.
The JVM arguments fixed all my woes with Minecraft's inexcusable performance on a 3600/16GB/2070 Super. My build could not hold a steady 30 let alone 60 FPS unless all graphics settings were at their lowest. The increased RAM allocation relieved the bottleneck that held my performance back. No other source mentioned this. This video was perfect.

Dude!!! Thank you so so so much. I've been struggling with minecraft fps and getting pretty frustrated that it hasn't worked but I just went from like 12 fps to 32, just by changing the max framerate. This makes me really happy because now I can make a normal survival world without lag, I can't thank you enough.
Update: just turned chunks down and now it's even better!! This just made my day :))

Note: allocating too much ram can actually negatively affect your FPS. If you have 16GB ram try not to use more than 4-6GB, you can put it higher if you want to see if it does affect your fps in a good or bad way

I found another thing that might help a lot of you. It did for me. Download and install Optifine. Go into Video - Performance. Turn lazy chunk loading On. Now it probably won't get rid of it completely, but should definitely bring it down to a minimal. That's what I did and I haven't had any issues, and don't get much for lag or anything.

Your video is great it really increases the fps,but I think that many of UA-cam videos are missing options to change,like its better to turn off clouds,rain and snow,stars,sky,sun and moon,not leaving them default(fast) and animations to all off and in performance:
-Fast render:on(for all)
-Fast math:on(for all)
-Smooth fps:off(for all)IMPORTANT
-Smooth world(it depends)
-Lazy chunck loading:on(for the most part and it depends)
-Dynamic updates(it depends)
And in quality I usaully disable any (on) setting to off except emmisive textures cause some times I crashes the game(Mipmap setting for the most part is useless).
Just use these settings with the ones in the video and you will be fully optimised in game settings alone(forgetting things you can do in Windows to increase the fps further more).
I have a laptop with amd dual core 1.65ghz apu and radeon HD 6320 and 4gb ram and a hard drive,went from 1fps(yes guys im not even kidding)to 70-80fps avg(depending on were you are looking).
I highly recommend you guys testing these settings beside the ones in the video,they will drastically improve fps in game and hope it was helpful!!!
The mipmap thing was actually useful for me because it was giving me low FPS
